Maybe museum would know about the bayonet, beautiful find, it’s a wow, Joppie, 4, Congrats, Now Wim, your turn to find a bayonet. Looked up Bassina and saw same thing, it a art supply store, metal container is to store, magic markers, probably paint brushes paint, paper for art work , anything that fits. How do these things get there, so crazy what you find. Two Sad Irons, coffee grinder and old lamp, would fix them up they are really cool

most likely an ALLIED world war II M1 GARAND bayonet although it could be a german K98 , either or its a nice find. there should be numbers where the scabbard meets the blade guard if it is an M1…another nice clean-up guys!👍👍

I would get a bucket of canal water and keep some of those artifacts submerged until you are ready to work on them. After being in the water so long, exposure to air can cause them to deteriorate very quickly.

The mud can preserve very old and ancient finds that can then deteriorate once in the open air again....do you wax these finds after cleaning to prevent oxidation & rusting ? Man, that bayonet is such an awesome find! I knew immediately it was a US one, because I used to have one just like it. And as for the guns, it appears you can own them in the Netherlands, you just have to get a license. I think if I were you I'd go and get that license. It would be awesome to be able to get them back and potentially resell them, or even just keep them for occasional trips to the range for fun, they really are a blast! (Pun intended!) Not to mention that marksmanship and knowledge of how to safely operate a firearm are very valuable skills. Anyway, thanks for another awesome video man! Cheers! 🤘

Yes that was a AWESOME find 🗡💯 And the gun license in the Netherlands is not so easy to get, 🙈 and you must go a couple of time's a year go to a shooting range 💯 that's nothing for me 🙈 and then still you can't keep the guns we find, even if they are clean, everything must be registred 💯 And i don't have a license , to much rules 🙈 But thank you very much for you're AWESOME commend JustAnotherFreakinChannel 🙏🏼🤗

Good job cleaning the bayonet. Three blonds are sitting by the side of a river holding fishing poles with lines in the water. A game warden comes up behind them and says, Excuse me, ladies, I'd like to see your fishing license. said the game warden. But officer, replied the second blond, we aren't fishing. We all have magnets at the end of our lines and were collecting debris off the bottom of the river. The game warden lifted up all the lines and, sure enough, there were horseshoe-magnets tied on the end of each line. Well, I know of no law against it. Take all the debris you want. Then he left. As soon as he was out of sight, the three blondes started laughing. What a stupid fish cop! The third blonde said to the others, Doesn’t he know that there are steelhead trout in this river?! Sorry, couldn't help myself.
