You're definitely not alone in choosing Nissin Ramen as a top favorite. I like it a lot too despite being a Maggi curry follower for years. When my stomach cannot quite handle spicy food some years ago, I had to look for less spicy (or non spicy) alternatives. I stumbled upon Nissin several months ago, and is happy with it ever since.

The penang white curry mee is one of my favourites. when i first found out about it years back, it was difficult to find and only available at certain stores. They now have it in the "instant bowl" style.😊

You guys are so cute. I enjoyed this episode. I like the instant noodles but not in love with it. My daughter brought Maggie noodles from an Indian store in Belgium. That what I really enjoy but I add coriander to it whilst it’s cooking and after it’s cooked. That really brings out the flavour. Thanks 🙏 you guys. It was fun watching you guys. The best thing about maggi curry is you can tumis some garlic, add some udang/beef/sotong, add a little sip of milk, throw some sawi/broccoli and you can literally beat almost all instant noodle. If barebone, even mamee curry is better. But try throwing all that in mamee, it became salty and inedible. I dont even like maggi curry barebone, but when cooked, it has its own place in every home hahaha.

penang white curry mee and shin ramyun were my staple instant noodle back when i studied in australia. its weird tho penang white curry mee sooo hard to find in malaysia. guess they mostly market it overseas cuz of the price (pretty expensive compared to maggi lol). maggi has new product the aglio olio noodles. heard it has pretty good reviews but havent tried it yet. sadly theres no halal version of nissin. would love to try that.

Ibumie's Penang White Curry (NOT MyKuali) is the first instant noodles that I've tasted that uses the creamer / coconut powder meta and it blew my mind. This was before mamee chef and everyone else also jump on the bandwagon (apparently MyKuali was the trendsetter).

All noodles shown were great. I have never tried some. I am a ex malaysian living in Australia. Penang curry mee has the strongest ingredients. And they have Laksa packets too. Those are so hot, yet while you taste them, it is so delicious and it burns your mouth. All those noodles are great if milk is added. Just a fraction. Milk that you use to make coffee or tea in your fridge. That is how I eat my noodles. Like you Kumar, I love Curry maggie mee. It stands out the best in all season. You can turn it around and around and around by adding fishballs, vegies, tofu and of cos some milk to balance it all. Got to have milk. That is the best packet. They dont sell them in our supermarket. I wonder why. I have to go to the local Asian grocery store to buy them. And it is ever so expensive for a packet of 5.All in all, Maggie Curry will bring your heart back to Malaysia instantly. I dont know how do they do that spices in the packet. I wish they just sold those packets separately. I d have them with plain noodles or even as a soup. Take care Kumar and hi to Rachel!

I ate that Penang White Curry, something like that. It is white if you did not put the chilli paste (ba dum tsssk), and actually without that chilli paste, it still taste great. I assume it kind of Chinese kind of Malaysian Chinese way of style, put how much the paste you like (sambal?), not necessarily the whole package. Throw some dried tofu, hard boiled egg, shredded chicken, fish cake, some green or bean sprout. Ummphffft.

actually it's not a very fair comparison since some were dry noodles and some were soup noodles. Maybe you should have had two different kinds if tests - one for soup, another for dry. Taste, texture, even broth play big roles in the taste....

The singapore laksa is premium quality for instant ramen! I fell in love with laksa during my 4 trips to singapore. Not all laksa are equal.

Laksa is not instant ramen. Ramen is Japanese noodle dish. Laksa is Singapore. Instant ramen are flavours like Tonkotsu, Miso, Shoyu, etc.

These are not Ramen, they are all instant noodles from Asia. Ramen is Japanese noodle dish with flavours like Tonkotsu, shoyu, miso, etc. In this video, only Nissin Raoh is instant ramen.

U guys should try Ibumie dry instant noodle. Its similar to Indomie but to me its way better taste. My family loves it. Its kinda hard to get Ibumie because not all shop brought in this brand but if u manage to see, grab and try it. You wont regret. Its a rare item here in Malaysia but hey, its a challenge to hunt this. It has few flavour but i like the original flavour.

You don’t have to use the whole packet of spicy powder on the black shin ramen, it is supposed to be customizable. I’ve tried all the noodles on this list and black shin is my favorite. But it would not make it to top 3 with all the whole spicy packet in there either.

Why dont you try Thai made MAMA Instant Tum Yum Rice Noodle. A reasonale priced, rice noodle (mee hoon) tomyam, not the a normal noodle. Personally, I go for Indo Mee (fried noodle), Maggi Curry Mee (Curry Mee Noodle) or Mama Tum Yum Rice Noodle (Tom yam) plus Maggi Chicken Noodle (Chicken Soup) .... you cant go wrong with these.

Penang White Curry Mee. It's broth is white when served to you, as the chilli paste is served separately on the soup spoon. Up to you how much chilli you want to add to your curry mee. Differentiated from other curry mees (often referred to as curry laksa in other states of Malaysia) where the broth is orange, like a curry

Guise, you cannot not try Mamee brand of instant noodles... for me, their noodles win over maggi cos I like my noodles al dente. Maggi noodles just turn soggy too fast. Like what one of your viewers mentioned, Mamee Lontong is the bombz! iChang (Japanese lady and her husband Jimmy) tried Mamee and they are converted ex maggi lovers hahaha you can see their video on eating Mamee! Mamee soups have a richer flavour too! Oh, and for Korean noodles, my ultimate recommendation is the spicy noodles by Paldo brand. They will give you the delicious spicy kick you love! it's yummy spicy!

Btl sy tak penah muak mkn mee Maggie terbaik.. Mee segera lain sdp jga tapi muak tak tau knp.. 😅 😂 Klu mee Maggie hari2 mkn pn tak ape.. 😅 Tapi sy masak tak terlalu lama sgt..
