Wow what a day, so many hammered and milled up and Roman too. All those incredible artefacts Iron Age Bronze Age thousands of years saved in just one day. Absolutely gob smacked well done to the Team and much appreciation and respect to you Graeme and Mel for making it all happen and to the farmer for actively seeking the best team in the land to uncover the history on his land. Great dig as usual Guys. Brilliant finds. Medalion at 13.22 is a Battle of Portobello 1739 piece featuring Vice Admiral Vernon, with ships on the reverse. I have 2 of these, of different designs. Cheers, John.
