If you take my advice born of experience don't run a marathon until you have trained over at least that distance but preferably 30 miles. Once you have run it you'll understand why. In your first marathon your running with others and an enthusiastic crowd will bouoy you up and you will run far faster over the first half than you intended. That will cause you to suffer greatly (the wall). I did the same in my first marathon but I was given the advice I have just posted and it made a massive difference. Running 30 miles in training gives you the confidence to KNOW you can nail 26.2 pretty comfortably. Mere would have done better to run the two distances the other way round and run the 5k competitively. The time period between the two on such a damp day will have played havoc on her muscles. Running home after the 5k would have been far better and she could have eased into it as the 5k even run fast would not have tied up a fit persons muscles and, should she have wanted to call it a day part way home Matt could have picked her up. But, well done both of you I wish I could still run but just walking causes me enough problems these days.

Your wife is such an inspiration to me, earlier this year I ran my first 5k and finished it in a little over 30, not great time but something I'm proud of and look forward to doing more. And you my good sir are an inspiration to me as well, for 4 years after my first run at college I wondered what I was going to do (political science was NOT my thing), and then I found you and now I'm in the middle of my first semester to become a certified veterinary technician. So thank you for everything that you do! Oh and my boyfriend watches and loves guns. Our animals have matching collars :)

I did the same on my first 5k. I was able to get it down to 24 min. Keep it going. Focus on technique. Watch the bouncing, watch the heel striking. Land on the balls of your feet and focus pushing forward instead of up. You can improve. You will learn to enjoy the zen of running.

Hii.. I am from India . I am a doctor and that keeps me busy for most of the day. Two years ago i started watching his channel and i was so inspired by what he was doing, i started my own animal shelter for stray dogs, cats and other animals in need. My Husband , Sotero Martinez Jr. , Has a suggestion for you. When you record your demolition sessions you should take one employee from bunker branding each time with them wearing a new shirt or hat and let them record you and help out and show the new merchandise. Then in one episode have them all with you and tell them to wear bullet proof vest and pretend your are going to use them for targets, but not really, of course.

Way back when I still swam on a Masters Swim Team (i.e. folks over 21 that still enjoyed swim meets), My biggest competition in my age group aged up to the next one, and for two meets I had very little serious competition. Third Meet , a guy aged into my bracket. Young, single, handsome and fast . I had to swim my butt off to win anything for the next 5 years. I had a bunch of personal bests in there and some State Records. Then he got married and they moved, so I was top dog for a few more years . You could be that guy that moves into an age group !
