I agree, they just made it awkward because based one what they were originally wearing and how they acted when they first appeared on screen, is not the type of person you’d think would be doing this. When everyone was complimenting them they obviously weren’t used to it because they just shyly and quietly said “thank you,” so maybe they should have chose some other people. I appreciate what they were trying to do, but it just didn’t really work out.

I know this may be old and late, but I see a lot of comments about the girl with the blonde hair. Honestly, I think she rocked that way better than I would of. I have so much respect for all of these girls, pretty sure the tension was awkward because they're teens. I know adults may act like that as well sometimes, but they could also be having some problems. Dealing with depression, their insecurities, you never know. It was their choice, and I loved that they may have felt at least a bit confident. I really hope this doesn't start any arguments. I do know some rude people may reply, because this is the internet. I know girls who are this type of shy and have the same personalities and I actually really enjoyed the video. Only a couple of the dresses looked a little too big but they also like to wear clothes that are loose and comfy so buzzfeed may have tried to accommodate. I didn't see girls who were unappreciative. I saw girls who were internally excited with the new things and one even shed tears of joy! I hope they had a great prom night!
