Godzilla probably sealed himself away to recover and evolve after the fight with Mechagodzilla. His new form in this movie will be much stronger. He seems leaner, more robust and his arms and upper torso seems to have grown. The new reddish pink energy could be him creating his own variant of MechaG's Proton Scream, or it could just be the next level of Atomic Breath. His elbows have spikes and he seems much more faster and agile. Godzilla is probably evolving into something that can fight perfectly on both land and water(He was at a slight disadvantage on land in the previous movies.). Kong's gauntlet may be a brace for an injury or just a new weapon humans made for him after he loses his axe to Scar King(He doesn't have it in that running scene). Also, Godzilla clapped Kong in GvK. He won the first round. He was caught off guard for a bit in the second round but Kong was unable to put him down. He stopped playing around and got serious, and put Kong down easily in the third round. Godzilla won using his physical strength, he only hit Kong with the Atomic Breath once. Kong was unable to damage Godzilla in anyway. Even the charged axe hit to the head only dazed him for a few moments. Godzilla dislocated Kong's shoulder, ripped up his chest, burned his back, and then almost made Kong's heart stop by stomping on his chest after literally laughing at him. Both in round 1 and 3,Kong would have died without humans saving him. If the humans hadn't interrupted and Godzilla had killed Kong in the Tasman Sea, he wouldn't have needed any help to take down MechaG, as the only reason why MechaG was able to dominate in their fight was because Godzilla had exhausted himself drilling halfway through the Earth and chasing and fighting Kong.

Fun fact about Godzilla's new form it actually took inspiration from Millennium Godzilla but pinker. Also, it feels like this is the conclusion for Kong's story since it looks like he will have his own kingdom and son. I am actually fine with this because not every Kaiju/Titan film needs to be mostly about Godzilla. Ex: Godzilla teaming up with Mothra or Jet Jaguar in their future films will expand lore related to them.

@@Kaiju-bm4ts 2:32 Pat says Kong would have "really won" as if there was some sort of disadvantage Kong had in that movie when the only person who had an extra bonus was Kong with his axe, Godzilla is the only person who didn't get anything he never had in the first place. Pat and a lot of Kong fans probably just didn't watch the movie or forgot what happened in Godzilla vs. Kong. Next at 6:10 all that happens is Pat sees Kong wearing another extra bonus and he jumps to this meaning "Kong would woop anyone's ass" even though we have no idea what that gauntlet is. It seems like some people take the Infinity Gauntlet meme literally because they think scifi gauntlets were invented by the Infinity War movie. If you ask a hardcore Kong fan they will probably say "Kong wasn't trying at all and was at a severe disadvantage in Godzilla vs. Kong"

The Scar King is an ancient titan like Godzilla, from what one can gather via context clues and lore, the scar king is a different type fo titan from King Kong, as you can see he is more slender than kong himself. the skulls we see were probably from a ancient war in the hollow earth where the scar king won and the other ape titans that where left alive where probably forced to become his minions

I saw Minus One last night and was blown away that I actually cared about characters in a monster movie on top of the awesome action and a brutal af Godzilla. And then I come home to find a cartoonish trailer ending with Godzilla and Kong running side by side like they're Batman and Robin 😂🤦🏻 That trailer didn't hit with me at all.

The director for godzill vs kong said Godzilla wins without a doubt. Kong was given so much plot armor it was insane. 1st the tripled his size to be the same height od godzilla, then he magically finds an axe from his ancestors that is a dorsal spine of godzillas with absorbs godzillas atomic breath. The director had to buff Kong and they had to nerf kong because the director said godzillas atomic breath would destroy mechagodzilla so they needed to weaken godzilla before the final fight. When Godzilla and kong dight in the ocean kong loses because he gets dragged down in the ocean and the humans then send a disorienting bombs in the water which magically makes Godzilla let go and give kong enough time to get to the surface without being disoriented himself. Then when they fight in tokyo godzilla had to blast a hole to the center of the earth which weakened godzilla because he survives and functions on nuclear engery when using his atomic breath drains him. Then kong shows up with rhe ace and fighta kong and kong wins that round with plot armor and then when godzilla gets back up he stopped toyijg with kong because through this whole movie godzilla saw kong as just an annoying titan that left his territory and hes stopping godzilla from finding mechagodzilla. Godzilla literally kills kong in 30 seconds after not trying for the whoel film then mechagodzilla shows up and destorys godzilla because he used up all in energy dealing with kong, being awake for weeks hunting down mechagodzilla, and blasting a hole to the center of the earth. Then kong saves godzilla and uses the axe but cant do nothing until godzilla noticed he needs to be charged and used the last remaining atomic engery to charge it up for kong to beat mechagodzilla. Then kong and godzilla were about to fight again then kong backed down. 😂
