Bravo! I laughed when she went over the first set of poles as she reminded me of one of my horses who, I swear, rides by sound…clunk, clunk , clunk! Ok Mum I think I’m over them now! lol! I thought it was a great day all around and just because she didn’t want to go through the water today does not mean she wouldn’t next time. Equally well if she had, it would not mean she would next time. That’s how horses are,as I’m sure you know! Have a good week. It was so nice to see you smiling all the way through! That’s what it’s all about- having fun!❤

Your trailer looks great. I want something similar for my horse because I also tow with a car. I do have a station wagon (estate car) and so more room for stuff. It's so hard to stop overthinking. I hear you on this. I am enjoying following Molly's journey.

Hi Shelley. So 100 % know where Yr coming from in this vlog. The first time I took my OTTB (5) to the beach she went ballistic. Tried to double barrel me & the bridal was almost impossible to get on. I tried another time in the horsebox but she threw her head about almost broke my hand. When I park up at my friends she gets so excited the only way I can get the bridal on is by putting it on over the headcoller. Unfasten headcoller underneath & 2nd headcoller in lorry . I won't travel her in it as worried she might get more stressed. Re boots I agree travel boots are over kill. Normal boots are fine. Re lung line I always carry that it's a must have. Re the water....if anyone says Molly won't ever go in water that's rubbish....she will...exactly same happened with mine...its totally normal. Give it time. Some people even show them water on a lunge. Your on the right track .

Thankyou so much. Makes me feel better you have overcome these things too. I think I am going to practice putting the bridle on her in the trailer at home and then see how she goes. She travelled ok in it yesterday but agree with you that’s not the best solution xxx

@everydayeventers8580 Honestly I don't think you need to justify to anyone why you put a bridle on at all. Only reason I don't is because once she ripped out the breaching bar in the horsebox( just chucking her head about) I made a huge mistake I should have got a stallion box with a wall ( I thought she'd feel claustrophobic)Instead I got a long-stall. Anyway she's settled abit now so doesn't matter . I'm sure Molly is fine & doesn't do that & travels relatively calm ( am I right?) So nothing wrong with having a bridle on a horse that travels well xxx

Wow, can see the work you are putting in with her. Well done!! And with the water, that is exactly the right way to start in my opinion. Forcing the issue to me ruins trust and helping her see that you see her worry gains trust between you! She learned that you have her interest. Don't listen to those who say it was ruining her. It is the right thing to do! :)
