Re-watching the vlogs seriously brings pure joy to me.. Currently it is 5:32 in the morning, and I've been up all night re-watching vlogs. I couldn't be more happy for the family.. They finally have their dream house, Shay works on something that he loves, they are all with family. The kids get to see their cousins basically everyday. And just watching the vlogs you can tell Shay and Colette are finally where they truly want to be. They have so many blessings in their lives right now it just makes me happy. There are thousands of people in the world that watch them and because of one video, the Butler's have changed every one of their fans lives. They brought together people from around the world to just spend a few minutes and watch their lives. We all get to watch the kids grow up as we grow up too. Shay has said that they don't do these videos for us they do them for themselves.. And that's totally okay with me.. I'm just glad that I have people I can look up to and someone to watch when I feel down. I lobe you ShayTards, and all of the ShayTard fans. 😊😊😘😘

You may never see this Shay and Colette but when Colette said she felt bad about her new truck - I don't see why? Heres what I wonder .. if you guys have thought about this...for the past FIVE years .. you both have worked EVERY single day - NEVER a day off ... Even while giving birth - Colette was working! I know you both enjoy videos - but come on, there have to be times when you didn't enjoy getting up - I remember seeing Shay pretty darn ill laying in bed and he said he was sick as a dog ... he still vlogged - the videos were still up the next day ... YOU guys have earned that hefty paycheck ;) Yeah some people will get up every day, work and not get that kind of paycheck but theres other things - you took a chance in moving from Idaho - When you had your $72...you didn't blame anyone else (I'm betting) you just kept going - You had faith... And there is that last part - I am sure its faith, hard work, love for each other and your family ... that brought you to that paycheck. Colette ENJOY that truck and everything else .. you earned it. No one gave it to you. You and your hubby earned it. Something else I absolutely love about you guys? Now ... your going home :) I am a grandma - and so many times while watching your videos I thought to myself ... "how much Laurie must miss those kids". I am SO glad you are back in Idaho ... you "could" have stayed in LA, bought that big ol beach house (cos I know Shay was lovinnnnnnnng those homes) ;) but you didn't ... you took the babies back to Laurie and their grandpa ... A lot have been commenting giving out about how much shay gets from maker etc. and saying that shays only interested in the money. I think this is complete bullsh*t because if he was only interested in the money then he would have stopped vlogging by now as the deal with maker has set himself and his family up for the rest of his life unless he goes and blows it all too quickly which I doubt he will. That's why Collete would rather keep it to herself and I can see where she is coming from to be honest but I'm glad they showed us in the end. It's a great car and they deserve it. They deserve everything they get with that money as he has worked hard everyday of the last 5 years to make it happen, not only with this channel but other channels and lots of other projects. It's great to see them get what they deserve. Well done to them :)

Because people can be super sesitive sometimes and when they see Shay and his family talking about selling Maker to Disney, buying a new house, or car, they automatically call them out saying that their bragging and that there are less fortunate people etc. And being rude in general. Basically the comment section can be harsh and Collete knows it. So she's cautious, because even though she's a great person, and no matter what she does, there are still people even if they're few that are going to criticize for no reason and be rude. (Those people are trolls, don't feed trolls or make eye contact, because they'll try to grab you...)
