I have been researching Cavalier puppies but they seem to have a lot of health problems. After watching your blogs I’m very interested in your puppies. I will be researching them. I just watched your Christmas puppies. I saw one or two little girls that are on the smaller size. I’m wondering how tall they will be & their weight. How do I go about getting on a waiting list & so many other questions? I’m excited about these precious babies. Awww. Welcome Miss Riley River. She is stunning, and I am looking forward to whatever you share with us about her as she grows and eventually becomes a mom for your program. I love both litters, but I especially love the pups in the Christmas carols litter. Or rather, I love their luxe since one can't tell as much is strictly based on visuals and without spending time with them. Snuffle mats are amazing things. I use them all the time with my two guys: a German Shepherd service dog, and a rat terrier service dog in training. They are absolutely fantastic enrichment activities for dogs, though note to anyone who cares to read this and is new to puzzle toys: do supervise your dog and teach him/her the rules the first few times. I just started introducing a snuffle mat to the puppy I am raising, and little EmiRose is having a blast with it. It definitely teaches her to problem solve as you said, and it forces her to slow down when eating. Anyway, thank you for all of the great updates. And happy 2023! ❤

It really is better if you can to feed human grade gently cooked or raw food. Freeze dried raw (like the liver she talks about) is a good option too if you’re looking for convenience. There isn’t a kibble on the market that is as beneficial for your dog inside and out as gently cooked or some kind of raw. There are several brands out there and a lot even leave out synthetic vitamins and are complete and balanced by using only whole food ingredients. Highly processed kibble is convenient but it’s basically junk food for dogs. Just read about what kinds of ingredients go into most kibble. Read about the extrusion process. I’m happy to give more specific information that I’ve learned from vet nutritionists if anyone is interested but I just wanted to let open-minded people know that feeding your dog is more about thriving than just surviving so please look into human grade alternatives to kibble. Also most canned dog food and Rx diets are expensive and bad. Trust me because before I knew more I had my dogs on all three of those undesirable food options at one time or another and boy have the dietary changes made a world of difference for them
