@Dee Bee I wouldn't buy it until you have next gen in hand, I know Xbox will be backwards compatible, I have no idea about PS. The current consoles really struggle with it, you need a good cpu as well as a decent gpu and be on solid state to be really playable, it never should have came to console until this holiday season, seriously...but the new Xbox X will definitely play it nicely, probably better than the average "Gaming" focused PC, but it also depends on the servers performance as well as your interwebs, high erratic ping is a killer. DayZ is at its most popular in over 6yrs I think, it's actually more popular than Bohemia's "baby" Arma 3... and there's been quite a few old names and pretty popular people start playing DayZ again.... and soon the infamous Frankie shall be back....I predict a pretty big surge in the player base after that, as well as probably every other KZbinrs subs who plays DayZ still.... don't forget, A2 DayZ Mod through A3 and DayZ SA servers are all still up.... could be a comeback for all of them (they're all great in their own way)

Noticed it was on game pass so I downloaded it but before I played it I wanted to do a little bit of research before jumping in. It's free in the gamepass, just pay a few bucks to test it a month instead of instantly buying it, I tried it out on console and imo its a whole different game and I wouldn't recommend it for the price it has on console but if u get your hands on a pc it's definitely worth it

It's worth it, no game that gives you an adrenaline rush the WHOLE time you encounter other players. You become attached to your character so easily cause when you die, you DIE. Console has it glitches a lot worse than Day Z but it's worth the money and especially if you find people to play with. Im a console player as well!
