We Got Engaged During The Total Eclipse

Hi guys! For my birthday in July, Solomon surprised me with a trip to Portland, Oregon. It's a place we've always wanted to visit, and it happened to be near the path of totality for the total solar eclipse. We made a road trip out of it, driving 16 hours from Los Angeles. We loved exploring Portland and the surrounding nature. The morning of the eclipse we traveled down to Salem, Oregon which was in the path of totality. We set up the camera in a beautiful open field and watched the entire eclipse as the camera rolled. It was the most incredible experience. The daylight turned into darkness during totality, and we could hear the animals on the neighboring farm freaking out. Crickets started chirping, and the temperature dropped. It was unlike anything we've ever experienced.
Something else happened during the eclipse, and I got the surprise of a lifetime...
