The best week of our entire lives! We got engaged in our favourite place in the whole world, New Zealand. We spent a week of absolute bliss road tripping around the South Island of New Zealand, in a vintage VW, and it felt like a dream come true. The lupins come out in late spring (November) and flower through until mid-summer (around mid-February), so I'd say they visited in late spring, judging by the amount of snow in the photos. Late spring is the most popular time for photographers to visit as the snow hasn't yet melted, so you get to see lupins in the foreground and snow on the hills in the background.
