Putting this here, dunno if you know this info yet but i figured it'd be best to put it here, a few bits of info on all cursed objects and things they do: The Ouija Board, you already know about. Ask the ghost questions like "where are you" to get the ghost's favorite room, "how do you feel" to possibly get a clue to one of the evidence pieces, etc. only location questions cost sanity, i.e "where is the bone" but be careful, running out of sanity while asking questions or taking the board outside and trying to use it (or not saying goodbye to it) will cause the board to melt and shatter and will force a cursed hunt. The Music Box, while playing, causes the ghost to immediately form, begin singing, and walk towards the music box. If the ghost reaches the music box while it's playing, it will immediately begin a hunt, so no matter what, remember to close the music box once you zero in on the ghost while it's singing, don't just throw it down! The Tarot Cards are a deck of cards with a preset amount of uses that allow you to draw a card. the different cards have different effects, for example, The Tower could force the ghost to interact with the environment and massively increases ghost activity for 10 seconds, or The High priestess could revive a dead player. There are a lot of risks to using tarot cards however, like instant death, so use them at your own risk! The Monkey Paw works exactly how it does in every piece of pop culture ever. Make a wish, and that wish will be granted but a downside related to the wish will be put into motion as well. It works in the same way the Ouija board does, only specific wishes will actually work, i encourage you to check out a full list of the wishes but some of the most useful ones are "I wish to leave" which will unlock all exit doors at the cost of your sanity, and "I wish for life" which will revive a dead player but has a 50% chance to kill the player who made the wish. The Cursed Mirror allows you to spend your sanity (rapidly, might i add, as it uses 7.5% of your sanity per second while viewing it) to get a panorama shot of the ghost's favorite room. Be careful though, if you run out of sanity while viewing the room, the mirror will shatter and the ghost will immediately hunt. The Summoning Circle is exactly what it sounds like. It summons the ghost to the center of the circle and traps it in place for 10 seconds once the candles around the circle are lit, making it ideal if you need photos of the ghost, as the time period the ghost is trapped counts as a ghost event. However, the immediate drawback is that the ghost will break free after the 10 seconds are up and immediately do a cursed hunt, so get a photo then seek out a hiding place! The Voodoo Doll, when a pin is pressed down, will force the ghost to interact with the environment in a myriad of ways. Throwing objects, turning on/off lightswitches, opening/closing doors, banging on windows, and some ghosts will even flip the breaker from a voodoo doll pin press, but if the pin on the voodoo doll's heart is pressed down, the voodoo doll becomes useless and the ghost will immediately do a cursed hunt. Combined with the random nature of the pins, makes the voodoo doll a fickle beast. Also: Each map has a set spawn point for the cursed objects, I highly suggest researching the spawn points for each map, as it can be the difference between an investigation taking 10 minutes or 20, especially on large maps like Brownstone High School. Sorry for pasting a wall of text into your comments section bere, i just figured it was extremely frustrating to have the cool cursed possessions and it never be explained how they work.

Quick tip about The Mimic!! If you are stuck with both ghost orbs and fingerprints: Check how many fingers there are for handprints!!! The Mimic actually prints 6 fingers if you see it on the UV light.

For the Meemic ghost orbs will stay on the mimic so if you see ghosts orbs moving around with the ghost and not going up it's probably the mimic
