Most of these games do not need an announcer, let alone two. Especially when the play by play is just a side convo. Let Dan host the show, he’ll be fine. The fact the booth themselves cannot hear the competitors at times is a testament to the booth being deadweight. Love J&J, but they’re dragging down these shows through the format. Codenames, they were somewhat needed, but they just talked over the players and were trying to play the game themselves. We’re tuning into watch the players but their strategy is droned out by the booth.
