Sallie people date and marry for different reasons, the same way someone wouldn't get married after 5 months and prefers getting to know their partner better. So preferences are different. I personally wouldn't get married to a foreigner in a foreign country after 5 months in this era of narcissistic and violent men. Yours was a unique relationship but it's not the same for everyone.
