That's the holy Grail of sleds the shape, colors, motor, and everything about those CK3 chassis are just incredibly amazing what an awesome piece of muscle and power!!! I used to have a 2000 that was stock with dynoport racing can and she was amazing

SWEET! Your video has me missing my 98 Mach ZR!

2 things. If you repair the carb boots use 3M window weld, not silicone. Second remove the brake master cylinder cover and make sure the small return port is not plugged. If it is plugged the caliper will stick and overheat the brakes causing a fire.

We had a 2001 Mach Z like this in our group… he was always offering to let us ride it, we all thought he was a nice guy until we realized he never traded on the lakes and was always trying to share on bumpy trails to get some relief on our 583s, 670s and 700 twins! This is a beauty!
@sledaddicz11 ай бұрын
HAHA! That's too funny! Can't wait to try it out! Cheers, Mike

It’s a beauty, nothing like the sound of a triple, brings back to great memories, thanks for the shout out and visibility, can’t wait to see it ripping around my neck of the woods up here on Lake Scugog
@sledaddicz11 ай бұрын
Thank you guys for our belts and the support for the channel! We'll get it out together once we get some ice and snow on Scugog and see what she can do! Studs are next! Cheers, Mike

The changing of the jets was a simple trick dealers did for more speed when racing (lakes) however with the higher fuel flow if you try to trail ride at slow speeds the spark plugs will foul up and you will have a 2 cylinder engine and eventually a 1 cylinder engine, usually you will find one particular cylinder that will always foul the plug first so you will know which plug to change out first. It's actually a pain in the ass and some Mach owners went back to stock jets after a while..ask me how I know lol

Removing that air box and installing K&N filters seemed to be a standard back in the day if you were running a triple.

Very clean sled Mike. I had a 1996 Mach Z 780 triple and a 2007 Mach ZX 1000 twin. The twin was crazy fast. Jetted the triple a touch fat and ran 2 Unifilters in the air box on the 1000 to stop belt dust going thru the carbs into the crankcase. Both sleds were a blast

You don't need all them plugs. Get yourself Br9EYA plugs gap them and run it! I've been running the same br9eya plugs in my ski doo triple for 5 years! The Klotz oil even has them stained red on the tips lol!

Love the old triples. One thing i would do is Put a new track for studs. Old tracks seem to get pull troughs as rubber is weak they are a pain trough a rad. Just a tough. Enjoy
