Your right mate ,it's only stuff and it can be replaced ,to many times we read or see on tv some poor person confronts these oxygen bandits ,only to lose more than material things .In thirty odd years of being a plumber ,and hiring and firing people the two times we had equipment and tools stolen ,were sadly people that had worked for us ,they were not owed money ,or fired unfairly just that they were weak people ,who would bite the hand that feeds them . The police told us in most small business robberies that current or past employees were usually behind the robbery ,just leave it to the insurance company and police.

Had something very similar happen to me. Had my truck hooked to my gooseneck parked 70ft from the house. Dropped the trailer and off they went. Wish you the best of luck finding everything Wade!

Sorry to hear about it man, me and my father used to own a sawmill in southern maryland (unfortunately it burned down in December) and we had the same thing happen to us about 5 years ago. We figured the got $100,000 worth of stuff off us. The sorry sobs even took our torches and cut the electric motor off are chipper and caught the sawdust on fire around it. Luckily me and my dad got there early the next morning and it was just smoldering still so we put it out. Smh

Just last year my shop got hit, smash and grab style. They just grabbed my two big saws and ran. I knew it was a long shot but I checked Kijiji on a daily basis and sure enough my saws turned up. Long story short, I filed a claim with the Police and got them back. Good luck to you.

And I'm speaking from experience "I've had my business robbed a few times" 99 times out of 100 it's either someone that you know like employee, ex employee, friend of an employee. Sounds like they knew what they were after and how to do it which probably means that they've been there before. Sorry to hear this man. It sucks that people can do that sort of thing to such good and wonderful people. On a side note I hope that karma works fast and painful on these losers!

We got hit a few times. Most of the time I am pretty sure it was past employees. They knew the good stuff and past on the stuff that was not working great. Had 2 drills just alike. One had quit working. They only took the working drill.

Hate when this happens Wade,it's happened to me twice,lost a lot of money and time aquiring what I had.The shame is,even if the law catches the bums nothing will happen to them serious enough to make them change thier ways.Instead,it will just cost us taxpayers a bunch more money to feed,clothe and house them.We work,while they get to lay around in jail and do nothing all day. When I was growing up we still had chain gangs in my county.The cunty would run the right of way mowers down the roads and the "punkin patch"(chain gang) would come along behind them and pick up all the trash and tree limbs and throw them in a dump truck.This happened rain or shine,cold or hot. The roads were never cleaner and the jail was never emptier.It's a real shame all the "progress" we've made.

It would be worthwhile to put a small mobile home on the property and let an employee live in it rent free, then you would have security on the premises, it would be a deterrent for most thieves.

Thats not stuff somebody stealing for a few $ in drug money takes to a scrap yard !. you are right about how hard it would be to load 11 drives in a pick up. I hauled 12- 22.5's out of the local dump tire pile for my farm rock trailer with my 1500 gmc with a 6.5 box, it was quite the load and was no room for anything else. I guess filming a KZbin channel in the shop might give them a heads up on a few things, a few tubers have been hit over the years sadly. I hope they get the full justice of a baseball bat when they get caught " oops did I say that out loud I mean law !" Take care.

I know of a logging crew who's army truck was found down the road off a hill. Looked like the thieves got stuck and stole the truck to pull themselves out. Then ran it off the road and stole all the diesel and the batteries off of it. Last week.

Karl Ferree showed me what to do with enemies. Find a blown down tree, put em in the root hole, cut off log, watch stump sit back into root hole. Homer , however , would tie em to a truck tire and put a stick of dynamite inside. Lite the fuse, laugh, and run like hell. I would tie em to a tree with twine, cut a abdomen slit, pull out a gut and leave em for cyotees to find. Animal s will eat the blood soaked dirt. Meth junkies don't have teeth so no evidence left.
