Because they have to actually look at them and check them out. The price is based on the condition and people that have hundreds of pairs don't tend to have pictures of every single one of them. You look at them in person and decide if you want to buy them or not

How hard is it to provide an inventory list of all the shoes you want to sell, and then get an offer and negotiate pricing for new shoes prior? They can still inspect all shoes in person to make sure they’re legit or adjust prices for used shoes as needed.

Somebody can list something as new because they only tried the shoes on one time but it may end up resulting in some type of rubbing or where marks on the outer tongue or on the sole of the shoe. People might say that it is new but that doesn't necessarily mean brand new. When you're dealing with big money like some of these shoes may bring, you want to ensure the condition of every single pair unless you're buying them for nothing and only need to sell a few to make your money back
