We got stuck on Voltron @ Europapark, Germany! Interrupted & uninterupted onride POV

With new and complex roller coasters it can occur that the ride has some unexpected stops in the first weeks of operation.
We experienced an aborted launch in the back section of Voltron.
Watch what happened then and how the ride returned to normal operation.
Join us for a ride with an unplanned stop in the middle plus a "normal" ride.
Note: These stops can happen and pose no risk to the riders at any time! These situations are foreseen in the controls and can be solved by related procedures.

It seems like that turntable is a problem.. this isn't the first video I've seen of it breaking down there

It's not uncommon to have bugs in the system with a new ride but it seems the turntable is giving them an unusually high amount of malfunction incidents. I hope they can work out the issues because it looks like an awesome ride. It would be such a shame if it didn't get the recognition it deserves because of some recalcitrant turntable.

Spannend zu sehen. Was viele Leute glaube ich unterschätzen ist die LSM-Steuerung. Das was euch passiert sein müsste, ist das verliren des Magnetfeldes. Die Statoren wollten euch nach hinten katapultieren, das Feld war aber nicht genau synchron. Vor allem müssen die Statoren ja auch entsprechend der Drehscheibenposition angesprochen werden. (vor;zurück) Super spannend. Danke fürs Teilen eures Erlebnisses!

I think LSM trip is more likely, because if it would have been a block issue, they shouldn't even have tried to launch

@@schlaubi yes i meant current occupied block, rather than the block ahead occupancy checks. If position sensors aren't triggered in sequence, an estop can be triggered. But I suspect the LSM's tripped.

Diesen Samstag gabs genau eine Unterbrechung mit paar Leerfahrten. Ca. 15-20min Verzögerung. Ist würde ich sagen schon ’ne tolle Verbesserung zu den ersten 2-3 Wochen.

Samstag 3 mal störung jedes mal 20 -30 min und 18:30 kurz vor der letzten Fahrt wieder. Und um 19:03 kam dann die Bahn muss geschlossen werden

Bei uns hat es zwei mal ein mini launch gemacht bevor wir wieder zurück aufs turntable gingen mehrere minuten warteten und dan nochmals ein launch hat rückwerts gelauncht und wieder zurück auf dem turn table gekommen danach ging alles wieder sorry wenn mein deutsch nicht gut geschrieben ist
