My family’s ranch is across the highway from the Desperado. We can always tell when there’s a range day going on, since it sounds like a full fledged war going on. I get a kick out of trying to identify the guns being used from the reports bouncing off the hills from a mile away. Keep it up guys!

I used to repair a roof next to the Nassau County gun range. I couldn’t see what was going on but there were some pretty heavy duty guns being fired there judging by the sound of it. It’s and industrial type area so the sound bounces of the buildings and echo like crazy. I can’t remember if it was that roof of a different one where I actually found a spent bullet lodged in the roof.
