This video is the perfect example of why people need to audit these places on industrial estates because allowing plastic pellets to fall onto the floor for wildlife to confuse as food and to fall into the water drainage system can cost these companies fines of over £100,000+ for pollution and endangering wildlife. I also think you should re-visit some of the worst offenders to see if they take note or don't give a shit. And wonder whats goes into the river at the back ??

Not that that's an excuse. They should all be aware of what's going on.

The directors should walk around the site once or twice a month as part of HSEQ audit, at random unannounced times. They may well think of ways to improve the business whilst having a stroll around. Health and safety law (HASAWA 74) applies to anywhere a person can get to. The pipe at the side of a public path is a trip hazard for anyone stepping off that path - the company need to either remove the hazard or mark it up / barrier it, as they are liable for any issues arising from it.
