Hi Chef JP and Camille. 🙂 I had my first Katz's in October 2019! I got the pastrami reuben with matzoh ball soup. The guy who made my sandwich is the one wearing the black cap with the numbers 8881. So happy to see him in your video! The overall experience of dining there is really something and a must do when in NYC. I like that while you wait for your order they give you a few slices of the pastrami to try. SO GOOD!!! Thank you for sharing your visit there. 😀❤️

We went to New York couple years ago for summer family Vacation and we stopped by Katz and have lunch. Very expensive like $30 for pastrami and the food wasn't that good!!! Glad we try it !!!!

I lived in Brooklyn area n I used to eat pastrami on rye bread. It’s only $2.50 that time. Our apt is on top of the deli store. That’s 50 years ago. Enjoy NYC.

I see that they still have those tickets at Katz Deli. I remember being told not to ever lose them. LOL. Katz's pastrami is great but for my money, the best pastrami sandwich is out in Los Angeles at Langer's Deli. Langer's #19 sandwich is the stuff of dreams. That's how good it is! Chef, if you like history and good food, get yourself down to New Orleans. One of the best meals I've ever had was at Commander's Palace. The food and the impeccable service are so memorable. I'll be watching these NY vlogs with great interest :)
