She tried to make us wait as long as possible... but Karen FINALLY had her baby!! And holy cow was that fast! From the moment we saw the signs to the moment we got to the mini barn this little bundle of joy was ready to rock and roll!!

I’m so glad to see that these are so healthy and sound. Through ignorance or trying to foal the “ smallest” horse in the world I’m seeing more and more dwarfism in minis. Your mares and new baby are exactly what a miniature horse is supposed to be! Have you seen the mini mules yet? They are so CUTE !!! I saw one at our local fair and could not stop hugging him !! We had a lovely mare named Cricket. Babies who will be gray will often be dark when born. My children and I slept in the stall next door with a half wall between us and our mare. We heard nothing, but had a strong, dancing foal in the morning when we woke.
