So happy for you that your fireplace and the beautiful tiles are installed. We had a wood stove in the first home that we owned and I used to love to curl up on the rug in front of it on rainy cold nights with a good book and cup of cocoa. We have a gas fireplace now, which is lovely, but there is nothing quite like a wood stove. And yours is really, really nice. Congratulations on the wonderful gift, you and your family deserve it. In my experience, you're best off using the tangle teezer on already wet hair, esp on thick hair. I usually use it when my conditioner's in!

It amazing how well your strawberries are doing! Also, I really like that you showed that you wash your fruits from your garden. It's crazy that a lot of people don't. If anyone is reading this, it's important to wash fruits and veggies that you buy or grow since snails and slugs are common in gardens and can carry different parasitic nematodes and other diseases like that. They like to eat decomposed organic material and that decomposed organic material can contain harmful parasites from the leaves or animals that decomposed if that makes sense.

That is what my hair used to look like. No matter what I tried to do with it it looked horrible. I had really fluffy hair that has scared people in public. I shaved it off. I love having a shaved head.

I feel very strongly about my opinion and feel that there’s a risk, even if the risk is low, I believe precautions and preventions should be put in place like a fire guard

I suffer from really thick hair too and I've found that the Tangle Teezer 'Smooth and Shine' has worked absolute wonders! I would definitely give it a go! It's a much sturdier brush so it's so much easier to use with thick hair! xx

Yeah that brush doesn't really work on my hair either, so now I'm back to regular brushes and I only brush my hair when it's wet after I've put in my conditioner, I've found that it's a lot gentler for the scalp and the hair itself.

regarding stain removal... I swear by vanish gold gel with the dabber built in to the bottle, i also add soda crystals to the washing powder drawer if it's particularly bad xx

@@RhiannonAshleeVlogs ah yes, I feel your pain.... sunscreen is oil based, have you tried the product called 'elbowgrease'? it's great for getting oily substances out of fabrics, I had to switch sunscreen brands for this reason, swear by boots own kids factor 50! My daughter is super sensitive to a lot of products and this doesn't stain xx

@@RhiannonAshleeVlogs unfortunately yes, they are water based but it still says 'colour may stain' on the bottle and we definitely learned that the hard way 😂 Best advice would be to grab a cheap table cloth and if any does go on the floor/clothes soak them as quickly as possible!

I have thick curly hair and I never ever brush it dry! I only ever brush it in the shower when I have conditioner on - brushing it when it’s dry can break it quite easily, and since I’ve stopped doing that, my hair is so much smoother, softer and less frizzy :) hope this helps!

The only brush I can use on my thick hair is a Wet Brush, it detangles without pulling on my hair at all. It takes some effort because it's a medium size brush, but it's the best I've ever used.

The question that I always have for people with thick hair is: your hair doesn't get greasy a lot, hence you can go without washing it for a week and over... Doesn't hair just smell bad after a couple of days? Especially if you move a lot/work out/are a generally active person. So, hair might look okay, but what about the smell? (Mine is limp and thin, so I'm genuinely interested how it works for you.)
