Pause: I just watched your Live, you were talking about the horses not eating the hay. I told my hub that the video yesterday showed you and Ben not being able to breathe properly and we both said there had to be mold in the hay, Ben's hair when he shook it, the color of it looked odd too. The place you got it needs to be reported, so if anyone else has the same issue, it will be documented. Unpause.

It would seem that there must be something definitely wrong with the hay because the animals have always loved it before this large load. Mold can do a lot of damage to the lungs; I learned this the hard way and still have scars on my lungs from it. I hope the new pond will work great and that all the animals will be safe when walking on the high slopes leading into the new pond.

Hi Lester. It's highly possible that the alfalfa was baled too green or sat in the field after some rain before it was baled. Either way, it's not good for ya'll to breathe or the horses to eat or breathe. I hppe you can get that straightened out.
