Thank you brother for your message! I have been dealing with anxiety and fear from a young age and it has gotten worse in past couple of months. I'm getting married this week and I'm in constant anxiety and having fear about my future. I know this spirit of fear is not from God but somehow it creeps inside me. How do you immediately act when such a fear comes out of nowhere?

Congratulations on getting married! Sounds like this fear is due to a transition of life. This is a next big step for you. You are right, God has given us a Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). If it is chronic, it could be an unclean spirit. If it comes and goes out of nowhere, take time to step away from what you are doing and pray to God. A good physiological response is to do deep Diaphragmatic Breathing (KZbin what that is) and just focus on counting your breaths. Also, practice visualizing yourself a few months from now. Whatever the fear is, currently, it will soon go away. A year from now, you are not going to be worried about getting married because it has already happened. Taking time to see ourselves in the future will help us to appropriately respond in the moment and know that this feeling is not warranted and does not need to linger, since it will soon vanish as time expands. Hopefully that makes sense and helps ~
