For the guinea pigs, while it may look like of is ‘less male’ than the other that is not always the case, some guinea pigs from pets stores are unfortunately breed with genes that can cause things like this, I have seen this many times, if you are really concerned about this being a problem then I would suggest taking them to a vet, it would be a good idea to find a vet either way as it is encouraged to bring them to the vet for a check up a minimum of once a year

Sockie: this is advise for you, if you decide to do the tests everything will be okay.I have to get blood drawn every month. I used to be terrified. Bring some water and take deep breaths. Don’t look while they put it in. Take in breaths and bring something to entertain yourself. If you try to relax (I know it’s hard) it hurts less. It isn’t painful it justs feels like a small pinch.

Hey sockie, you really don’t have to be scared for any tests, I’ve done them too and they aren’t actually bad, they don’t hurt so don’t worry. And btw did you know that if you look at something funny or entertaining while there is a needle you won’t think about the pain and you can also count wile there doing it, it helps distracting!! Sockie: I would get the test done now. I used to be really afraid of needles, and the worst part was waiting for the doctor's appointment where I was going to get the needle. If you get it over with, you'll have a lot of stress off your plate and you will find out the results sooner. Plus, catching and treating these things earlier yields better results in the long run. But it is your choice of course, we'll support you no matter what. Love you all!!

To the Norris nuts - I would recommend getting different bedding. The bedding your are using right now are wood shavings. This bedding can be harmful to guinea pigs respiratory system and give them trouble breathing because of the dust. I just wanted to let you know and maybe reconnect you research guinea pigs. Hey sockie please read this!!!: i get scared of needles too but one thing my doctor does is rub the spot where your going to get the needle with a cotton ball 9 rub until it burns a little but don't rub rllyy hard) and then you just have to relax your arm and it wont hurt that bad! EVERYONE GET THIS TO THE TOP: Naz, Brooke or Justin if you are reading the comments us Legends have some very important information on looking after guinea pigs, We are soo happy you all are getting two guinea pis since they get lonely. But, they need a bigggg space not one a pet shop might recommend you. You should clip their nails once a month, please don't use the harness you don't bring small animals on walks because it could hurt their spine. Don't leave them outside all year, in the summer you can let them out but if is super hot then it will be boiling for them. Make sure they can go outside to eat grass and run around in a big cage but put some shade on the roof, if it gets cold you can but not on freezing days and I recommend watching a proper KZbin video about how to look after them so you don't take care of them wrong. They can also eat 10-25% of veggies like carrots and cucumber. Only let them out if the grass is DRY. Wet grass can make them sick.

My name is Carole, I’m a Paediatric Nurse, for almost 40 years now. I was the one that mentioned not shouting so loudly! In newborn Disco’s ears 👀 Sockie, if you feel that your health is affected or you aren’t able to do the things you once did, my advise would be having some tests. I realise needles are your nemesis. But let me tell you a secret, no one likes needles and I have experienced grown men quivering in tears having blood tests. Reality goes out of the window and fear takes over. It’s a terrible thing to be fearful. If on the other hand, your life is pretty much as always. You don’t feel your health deteriorating and you aren’t in discomfort or pain. I would advise waiting 6 months. No measuring yourself in the whole 6 months mind. Nurses orders 😊 Also, while your waiting 6 months to measure yourself. I would definitely advise your parents seek support for your needle phobia, either privately or through your paediatrician/local doctor. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised how much it will help, not just today, but in years to come. Wishing you all the best and please try not to worry over the next 6 months 🌈

This message is for Sockie, My biggest fear is also needles but one year I had to get loads of tests and blood tests per day. In the end it only helped me and I got used to it. A trick that I used was that I hold my mums hand and then the doctor asks me a random question and then puts the needle in while I’m distracted. This helped for me :) I also think that u should get it sooner than later otherwise you’ll be dreading it for 6 months (I would just get it over with) Hope this helps Lots of love from a super legend 😁😄

If you did it in 6 months, it could get worse or better but it’s best to be safe. @@dreamindonuts7071 I hope she sees this because sadly it's too small for 2 guinea pigs and the items inside don't meet the requirements either :( if any of them see this then here's some advice: the minimum cafe size is 7.5 square feet but the recommended is 10.5 square feet, they need more hides because there has to be at least 2 (because they should have the option to have one each) and the hides should have 2 entrances as well (this helps reduce dominance behaviour and reduces the chances of injuries as they can escape easily). They also need a hay rack or hay bag because hay is 80 - 90% of their diet and need it at all times, not just sprinkled on their food. I know naz wants to take good care of them so hopefully she sees this and can learn how to adapt their cage to make it more suitable and make the piggies lives as good as they can be!

Sockie, first off, this decision is totally up to you but I'm just going to provide my point of view. From what it sounds like, you will probably have to get this test no matter what. I personally would do it sooner rather than later to find the root of the prolbem before it gets out of hand. If you do decide to do the test, having a needle phobia myself, I'd recommend having a reward set up for after to keep it positive! Something you really want like a waffle maker perhaps! This would help keep you motivated and have something to look forward to at the end of the day! Hope this helps! Sending you love and safe wishes from America! ♥️

I think Sockie should do the tests already because: 1. She is definitely doing it in the future so it’s better to get over it now than later. 2. It'll be scary for sure especially because you are afraid of needles but wouldn't you rather know now and stop it before it potentially gets worse? Hey sockie, the test will be a day it’s better to get them done so in that six months if you don’t grow/develop you won’t have to build up that nervousness, fear, and the lack of confidence. We all love seeing you in vlogs, but getting these tests done you wont have to worry. I know I’m afraid of needles, and some doctors. Sockie, I know saying "it's not that bad" doesn't help. Your feelings and fears are valid. I was always scared of needles and was terrified when I had to get 3 blood tests at once. There's always people like you and people supporting you, though! I always found it best to look away when someone is giving you a needle. Look at something that will distract you and it will be done super fast! Don't forget to ask your parents for chocolate after :)

Hi Sockie, if I was you I would just get the tests sooner rather than later so you definitely know if you have it or not and if you do it can get treated earlier. Also if you wait 6 months you would have to do the test anyway and I find that it’s better if you know sooner instead of waiting and getting more worried about it. I hope this helps 🤪
