I converted one little bed to sand. When the pump inside the filter kicks off it steals the water from my other two beds. I’m stalling out a lot more, where I need to add more water. I haven’t come up with a plan yet, but I will.

How's the drain pipe designed? Won't sand pass through to fish tank?

Unsure if you are still monitoring youtube commments, but how did you deal with the silica build up in the water?
@iAVS-info Жыл бұрын
The silica is bound to the quartz, there is no silica in the water. Silica sand is sold in pet stores and used in aquariums all over the planet. It is impossible for the silica to break its bond under normal conditions.
