Don't worry my husband and I just sold our home in August. The first day we put in on the market we received an offer at our full asking price, went through inspection and nearly made it to our contingency period, then they pulled out with no explanation. So we put it back up then a week later we received and accepted another offer, then two days later she backs out. So then back on the market it went, and then we finally sold it. We put it on the market at the beginning of June and didn't sell until the end of August.

Yes...always ask God to guide you and things will fall into place. I hope that eventually things will be certain for you'll as to what's best. I'm glad though, you're doing well overall. I’m in a similar situation. My husband and I have been struggling to conceive for 10 years. I get all these comments from people asking when I will have children. So annoying lol. I use to be heartbroken about it when I was younger. I’m 28 now and I look back at my life when my husband and I were basically kids wanting children and I am so thankful we didn’t have them during the time frame that we were begging for them. My husband and I have gone through so much growth over the years and we are so much closer to God now then ever before. And when I reflect back, I see that if we had kids back then our relationship and our relationship with God wouldn’t be where it is today. I know that my husband and I will have children in Gods timing. I believe He is preparing us to be extraordinarily parents when the time comes. His plan is greater than mine. And I have peace and patience knowing He guides our future. Sorry to hear about the house in San Antonio, it was beautiful. But how beautiful of an act of obedience you guys just showed. Great video!

What is meant to be will be. I feel you on the "rush" part. I've been wanting something for so long and I've had to put it in the back burner and I wanted it before 35. I'm 32 so sometimes I'd wake up just crying about it, but lately I've got a really weird feeling of calmness over it. I'm having some health issues too but thank God we are able to get help for it, lots of people do not. Good luck you two! Stay positive and enjoy the downtime. Any new projects or dyi"s coming up? What about grocery hauls etc?

My husband and I put a bid on a house and when we didn't get it I was devistated, cried for weeks. A month later we found the home we've been in for 25 years. I drive by the house that we lost everyday and thank God we didn't get it, I truly would have just been settling. When one door closes a better one usually opens. Hi guys, Yes, I would love tips from what you both learned. And to share your experiences with the attempt of selling your house and buying of your next home. Hubby and I will be going through that in the very near future too. But our plan is to sell our house and hope to find our next dream home in a completely different state. We’re in the same boat there was this house I had my heart and mind set on and my husband was like no no I don’t like it the yard isn’t a good size and all of this and I was so sad he didn’t like it because it was my mini version of my dream home! We are strong believers in what god wants is best for us and now we are looking into my actual dream home and area! I hope y’all find the perfect home that is the right fit for y’all! Gods timing is never ever wrong.

I loved that house but omg your next one is going to be better and thats crazy to me, because your right its his plan and everything will happen for a reason. When we were first looking on buying our 1st house i was 7 months pregnant and me and my now husband didn't know where we were going to live as i was living with my parent and he was renting. we put in offers before we found our house and they would fall through we got so frustrated where we almost gave up and then we found our old house, signed and moved in, all in time for my delivery. So we always say those houses weren't meant for us to live in there and make our memories in it.

We literally just sold our house to offer pad so we could move into our dream home. It was a lower offer than what we listed for, but not too bad. Offer pad gave a better offer than open door!

As tempting as it is, and I’m sure you have the marketing skills, please use a realtor to sell your house. I’ve purchased multiple properties but I’d never buy one or sell one without a realtor. Mainly because of the legal ramifications. There is a lot of liability when you are selling and it’s smart to use a pro. With that said, when you are searching for a realtor, you want somebody who has a high volume of sale and is a top producer.

Put it this way. At least you have a house!!! My husband and I were only recently able to move into a 1 bedroom co-op in nyc. Parking situation sucks the garage is 15 mins away. So it’s hard to run everyday errands bc I can’t walk home with anything significant in my hands. However, God is trying to get me to see the positive in this as well and to find contentment in this situation. Because his goal is not for us to be comfortable in this life. His goal is for us to be in eternity with Him in the next. That means we may or may not be comfortable in this life but that shouldn’t be the end all be all because his plans are to bless us spiritually and for us to keep our eyes on him not on the material things around us. I’m with you guys bc sometimes it’s hard to see it that way and I pray you will learn to love your house until it’s time to move on (if that time ever comes). ❤️

Life happens in God’s perfect timing, y’all are absolutely right. My husband and I went through a similar situation 2 years ago, we were ready to move into the perfect home for our family, but something was off and there were so many obstacles. Fast forward a year and we found the perfect home, perfect realtor (we’ve become actual friends that’s how great she is,) perfect schools. Everything came together and we couldn’t be happier. I sold my house in 5 days after agents let it sit on the market for 3 months. Not even kidding. What did I do? Facebook ads. I created a FB page for the house - Fabulous House for Sale - ran localized ads and it sold to someone overseas, sight unseen, in 5 days.
