Just a quick tip: If your combustion centrifuge(s) are at 0 stress, you can just flip off the power switch and they will quickly (and quietly!) coast to a stop. After which you can eject the ore. Not sure if the IC chip will move the levers around while it is coasting down which may cause it to go loud, so pull the chip if it is causing issues (it might not effect it at all).

I've tried this and it definitely complains. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

As always great vid, now should do an APC for the centrafuges:P And a IC housing so you can use one chip for both, at least if that IC chip is setup to do that... as it would be Better and less hassel ... and would NOT stop when power failures:P Great eps and cya in the next one :) -- Sal

later on if you want your rocket on steroids my type of build is to lower the rocket in the ground so i can make it at least 3 silo high with 6 mining modules and 2 fuel tanks ( the ic treats all modules as 1 ) so i make 1 of each ice/ore later on a second ore miner and i never need to worry bout ore ever again i just need to worry how to spend it all haha xD nice video

@@LargelyUnemployed not that ive seen but after 1-2 trips of a big rocket to mine only ice... who cares??? XD youll have so much that you wont even bother checking because youll have to build a refinery to refine the ice fast enough for the next rocket to be unloaded fast enough O.o oh and as far as i know the limit in the rocket tank is really high ive searched in the wiki everywhere they dont put a limit i pump 8000 in the tanks so 8kx2 16k fuel and let her rip might be overkill tho because the silos are maxed after a bit but im not even looking just building stuff :)

not sure why u're not using your main filter setup, you could just have 1 ice crusher that goes into your filtration system and have all of the gasses there in tanks, then u can use any type of gas u need in the entire base in any system, also u can mix the gasses pretty easily for any purpose.

I wanted to build a proper storage network for the video. It's quite possibly the least efficient way I could have done it, but visually it's a lot clearer for the new players 😁
