@@mrpj1390 Not WB getting in the way. I think WB has always been interested in this because the Amazons are clearly a standout in every movie they've been in. In my opinion, it's one of those projects that WB feels they need to be very very careful when developing. There is so much lore in the history of the Amazons. That's also partly why I prefer it to be an HBO Max series. It'll allow WB-DC to fully dive in and explore the mythology behind the Amazons and how they came to be the most feared and strongest warriors on earth.

Fun FACT : DARKSEID is fond of the Amazons. He even stated something like this in rebirth.. " the world means nothing if they can't find Themyscira ".. I will find the exact quote later. Also Darkseid's daughter is a hybrid.. she is half amazon and half new god. Because her mother Myrina is an Amazon. So Darkseid does see the potential in having children with amazonians. They produce really strong children who can take the justice league by themselves.

They were immortals. They could either learn to reproduce asexually or ask the gods for. What she did with WW84 was actually what she wanted to do in the first WW but because Zack had a hand in the production of the film and a co-writer she didn't get what she wanted. And so she told WB if they ever want her to direct WW again they have to give her leeway to do it her way else she walks and so WB agrees. She didn't forget. She got what she wanted.
