Because they want to know everything you buy. Target marketing, but could also be used with insurance to spy on your eating habits to set rates. I hate it too that Kroger and other stores do this practice.

Floridian here. We just got power back after 14 hrs and lost all our frig food. Carburator on generator needed to be cleaned. FYI we did yard cleanup yesterday outside in 30 MPH wind plus guests. Lol. That ain't nothing. It was cooler outside at 88* than inside the house. I encourage every able bodies person to get out and provide for all the affected, bring your chainsaw and own provisions. Orlando was not affected at all. A daily thunderstorm is worse, the ENTIRE West Coast of Florida is inundated. NOTHING NATURAL about this. All weather warfare.

I live in Covington Ky and the rivers (Ohio/Licking) are already up to the houses. Another 24+ hours of rain, Cincinnati and Covington are going to be a Big mess. I dont like the Boost either. Also, I actually go shop in the store, where people spend more, why do delivery get more special coupons? to get you to use it? Doesn't make marketing sense to me. Just puts me off, big time.

Good morning kiddos! Here in NE Tennessee we had gusts up to 50 mph all day yesterday. But it was sunny and not too hot. No rain after early in the am. But the flooding ALL around me is unreal. They’re calling it a 1000 yr flood. The east bound lanes of I40 up the mountain from Johnson City Tn to Asheville Nc is GONE! Washed away down the mountain. Unicoi Hospital had to be evacuated by helicopters with water up to the roof. We have horses stranded in raging waters up to the backs. Our entire area and western Nc mountains are destroyed😪I’m SO glad y’all went home when you did and you’re safe! Much love from NE Tennessee ❤️

2010, Millington, TN, town and Navy Base flooded, there are photos of the base on Bing. Town didn't get but 1 FEMA bus. Smelled like a sewer for 2 weeks. Navy personell did some clean up, but had Serv-Pro big buses come in. Town has 17K plus the Base. That flood went up to Nashville. Fields were flooded in Tipton Co. for months. We've had 4-5 tornadoes come through from MS or AR this year. We just had heavy rain. And the Mother Board for my Fridge went out. On order. Oct. 2. Remanufactured from original parts. It's about 12 years old. Ice chests for Fridge stuff. We are trying to eat up. Hub is electronic Prof, Navy 40 years. No repair man needed.

But I went to Smith’s, which is part of Kroger. I was frustrated when I seen you had to be part of boost to get that so I didn’t buy any of those items. I didn’t need that much anyhow I don’t really need sugar and I don’t really need flour. I’m stocked up on it. Got it from Sam’s. Goodbyes and then I got across the street to Safeway and I saved more than I spent so that was good also. And I had seven dollars off on me so when I got the T-bone for 699 a pound it was like I got the one for free that was in the package because of my seven dollars off my mangoes I saved $.55 each.

We had very few digital coupons that regular people could use this week. Pick up or delivery and Boost had the good deals. I'm not paying extra just to shop deals. I can't get delivery because we live too far out and in another state from our Kroger stores. I already upped our Sams membership but we can get free shipping. That saves us 30 mile each way trips when we don't feel like getting out. There's no benefit for us to get Boost.

We were in pigeon forge this week and had planned a trip through Asheville to pick up pottery clay and other supplies. We headed home yesterday rather than going to Asheville because they were already flooding. We were in the Red zone most of the way. It was a very long and stressful day making it home. We passed four tractor-trailer accidents on interstate 81 on the way home. Lots of trees down and signs down.

Good morning Jess & Danno we are experiencing horrendous storms in the UK. Many areas are flooded with us getting a months rain in one day. We have been battered by wind and torrential rain for the last week. Today, Saturday, we have a brief respite with some sun, but colder. Tomorrow the storms start again with more storms out in the Atlantic, which will head this way. I am lucky that I live high up in the country, but around me is flooded. So we know how you guys feel. There are a LOT of BOOST advantages, not just delivery. We get extra sales,free pickup,extra fuel points, some freebies. I took the FREE BOOST that was offered to me, but have not used the delivery or pickup. I wondered about Danno's Mom. It was bad with the Boost specials.The print was BAD, and people did not see it. I imagine the poor cashiers got a lot of flack, which is terrible.

A "Kroger Rant" here from Cols! Been to two different stores within the last couple of days and most items on sale with digital coupons show the sale on the Kroger website but no digital coupon sale sign on the items in-store. Went ahead a picked up a few things w/o the sale signs and checked receipt and luckily the digital price did match the website price.... Kroger can be so frustrating. Mabey trickery?... who knows. Curious to know if anyone else has experienced this.

I'm so fed up with our kroger. Every time I go to the 1 here, I'm overcharged on at least half the items. Then there is no one in the office to correct or refund my money. Last trip I was there for an hour and half to get refund after just 20 min of shopping. I'm 67 and not n good health. I was so frustrated by the time I left. This is all on purpose to over charge us. Have been watching receipts for almost 3 yrs. Not one time since then has everything rang up correct. Totally on purpose. Walmart almost as bad

Just be happy that you left Florida when you did. I have lived in southwest Florida for over 30 years and have been through more storms (including a head on hit by Ian) than I care to admit. Danno and Jessica , we were without power for 22 hours. My son could not get our generator to work. It's older. I cried so much because my animals were hot, Inside was hot. 🥵 A tree fell by the house, and there's debris everywhere all over our property And roof.. This was the scariest storm I've ever seen. I like going into the store and shopping myself. I would give anything to have a Kroger store here The drivers are all very nice. They know I am in a wheelchair so they bring the stuff in for me and put the bags where I need them to put the stuff away. Well worth the delivery fee for me
