My son moved to Texas to get away from the fires in oregon and yes we have a lot of fires in oregon caused by people yes we had a fire in California and it burnt the whole town down because of a electric company don’t taking care of their power poles

Doesn't mean a man who provides fresh meat for his family isn't a caring , loving husband and Dad. If they don't cull the animals their family will die. You make it sound like a loving man can't cull animals and meat for his family. My dad was a great farmer , loving and super caring but he provided fresh meat for his family of 9. You need to learn to accept animals are animals , it's how GOD made them. They are NOT HUMANS !!! All living creatures are totally created to be food and clothing , or medicine etc. Plenty of rabbits eaten all over the world. The local fish and chip shop down our road has frozen rabbits. Very delish !!!!

I live in the Texas Panhandle. My son's best friend is our fire chief. We've had over a million acres burned in the Panhandle. I don't believe for a minute these fires were started intentionally. We have wildfires every year. We've also been in a drought for probably 15 to 20 years. Our dry grass causes red flag warnings across the Panhandle when our winds get to 40 to 60 mph. People throwing cigarettes out of car windows are the worst. Trains start fires. Xcel energy takes good care of their lines, but there have been occasions with the winds that things happen and probably have started fires. Our ranchers have lost so much and it's heartbreaking. We were told to evacuate our homes a week ago today. Our firefighters are exhausted. These fires are still burning, and they are still fighting hard to keep them under control. If you don't live here, you couldn't possibly understand what it has been like. Tragic! These aren't the first wildfires we've had to run from, but this is the worst I've ever seen! Heartbreaking!

We put foam board insulation up under our metal roof. It helped lot. Then we painted it blue. That will help cut down on the bees. Your place is looking great.

Rabbit is a very tasty protein that I grew up on. My neighbore showed my Mom and she showed me. We make Italian Rabbit with Veggies. All the meat is cut into managable pieces. Saute garlic,onion and celery in olive oil. Browned on all aides, we add carrots, green peppers, potatoes and mushrooms to the meat. Added 1 cup favorite wine or beer and 1 cup of broth,chicken or beef. 1 large can petite dice tomatoes added. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook for 2 hrs at 325 in oven, stir occasionally.

Wow! We got thunder and lightening here in Ozark Missouri around 2:30 am but it only lightly rained. Then again, I'm close to Highway 65 and between springfield and branson on 65 is a rain belt. Drive a few miles and it will be pouring and then a few miles of dry. I've seen it rain on the right side of my driveway and be dry to the left of the driveway. Lol

I would love it if Roxann would do a video on making a rabbit dish. I know that the thought of preparing cooking and eating rabbit makes people squirm but it was something my family did and I miss it. My family emigrated from Europe to Canada in the 1950’s and raising and cooking rabbit was not uncommon there. It is a cheap source of protein that is not difficult to raise and requires little input cost to get them established. It also tastes really good and is good for you. So Roxann I think you would be a great influencer to get more people to try rabbit by showing them dishes they can make with them.

My dad would go rabbit hunting and bring them home. He would process them and mama would cook them. The same with squirrels. I couldn’t eat either, I was a little girl at that time. I didn’t understand the concept of living off the land when it comes to hunting. Now fish was a different story. I love to fish and will eat fish . So I totally understand why you would get attached to the babies. ❤❤❤❤❤❤. Meat is so expensive here in Georgia too.❤❤❤❤
