The tall, fit Buu you saw is called Super Buu. He's the evil half of Buu that split from the Good Buu and then reabsorbed the Good Buu, but this time with him being in control. She's a character that was introduced in dragon ball who doesn't show up much in dragon ball z. But in the Buu arc she was able to get Goku back to the living world for one day, which is why he has a halo since he's still technically dead.

yo, Kyle, here's a fun fact: in the original when Sean Schemmel, the OG voice actor for Goku, was gonna do the scream for the Super Saiyan 3 transformation, he actually lost his voice after the scene was over. and in the GT when he was transforming into Super Saiyan 4, Sean Schemmel screamed so much that he dropped to the floor unconscious. now that's dedication to your craft. :)

Schemmel doesn't. It's not that it makes Schemmel a bad person. He just doesn't want to compromise his own position. Reminder, Toei absolutely flip their shit over DBZA at every opportunity and *really* don't like acknowledgement of them by official cast and crew. Plus... I mean, Sabat is cool with it, but I can understand not liking someone else effectively doing your job and some people say they're better at it than you are. That's got to hurt the pride. Vegeta didn't technically "blow himself up", he just used ALL of his energy. Since Ki is life energy, you can keep using it beyond your limit at the cost of actually harming yourself and draining your life, like using your Health Bar to cast after your Mana Bar is empty. Vegeta used ALL of it, his entire life force, and it left him as a dead, stone-like husk.

King Yemma kept Vegeta's soul after he died incase the Buu situation got any worst, thats why he could come back to Earth in order to stop buu. In order for Goku to come back to Earth, Elder Supreme Kai gave the rest of his life energy to Goku, basically Elder Kai just stole Goku's Halo. Goku was originally going to fuse with Gohan, until Buu asorbed Gohan, transforming himself into Buuhan. At first Vegeta refused to fused with Goku, until Goku told Vegeta that Buu ate Bulma and trunks. Buuhan caught Vegeto off guard and asorbed him. When Vegeto got asorbed by Buuhan, they defused while in Buuhan's body. While in there, Goku and Vegeta manage to get Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Piccolo out of Buuhan since Buu keeps certain people he asorbed in his body, Fat Buu was there too. (After Satan got shot by some low life, same low life that shot that dog who's all right btw thanks to buu's magic. Fat Buu heals Satan and Buu snaps, with all the evil coming out of him. The evil from Fat Buu creates Evil Buu. Evil Buu turns Fat Buu into chocolate and ate him, transforming Evil Buu into Super Buu.) When Fat Buu got disconnected from Buuhan, Buuhan transformed into Kid Buu, since Fat Buu was the only thing keeping him from being an emotionless killing machine (when Kid Buu asorbed the Grand Supreme Kai long ago, he transformed into Fat Buu, making Fat Buu less of an emotionless killing machine in comparison.) While on the Supreme Kais planet, Satan tries to fend off kid Buu since he's so full of himself. Before Kid Buu manages to hurt Satan, Fat Buu comes out of Kid Buu in order to save Satan. While the buus are fighting, Goku tries to get enough energy to use the spirit bomb, but the people of Earth aren't believing it since they think it's one of Babidi's tricks. Since you don't know, Fat Buu killed Babidi after Goku went back to other world since he was only allowed on Earth for one day. So Satan had to lie to the Earth in order to save it. After Kid Buu was destroyed, Fat Buu was spared thanks to Satan, and they hid Fat Buu until they could use the Dragon Ball again to make the Earth forget about the Buu nonsense. Before the 10-year time skip, Goku used the dragon balls to reincarnate kid buu into Uub, so that Goku could fight Uub in the world tournament, with that Goku kidnaps Uub and they fly away from the tournament, ending the Dragon Ball manga.

Master Roshi's sister can bring the dead back to life for 24 hours. She did this when they first met her. In order to ask her a question you either have to pay her a lot of money or defeat her five fighters in one-on-one combat, although she will sometimes allow two on one. If she doesn't have enough fighters she will get someone in from the afterlife to fill the slot. This didn't come up too much in DBZ until the Buu saga when she brought Goku and later Vegeta back to life. She even brought someone worse than Vegeta back to life much later. That's why you sometimes see characters with halos among the living.

Buu saga is in my opinion the perfect encapsulation of anything and everything dragon ball. It’s greatest strengths and it’s weaknesses on full display. Characters you WANT to be important ultimately being fodder, the greatest screams in the franchise, some of the most famous fights, and in my opinion although the continued issue of the main character of the arc not being apart of the finale fight, Gohan is in my opinion the best main character in all of Dragon ball. Unlike Goku and Vegeta, Gohan NEVER stops caring about the world he lives in and is completely invested in it. But because he’s so focused on living, his role in protecting it is always in question. Making it mean THAT much more when he does make that decision. While it’s a shame Toriyama was never comfortable writing for him, in the hands of new writers, Gohan is in my opinion the way to truly bring Dragon ball to its highest heights. Because he cares SO MUCH that he wants to AVOID the dragon balls being necessary, meanwhile Goku and Vegeta are so above consequences they can no longer care less by this point. And it’s up to Gohan to come to a single conclusion. His dad and his “uncle” are FAILURES at guardians and he has to match them so they can’t put everyone in mortal danger every arc.

And the reason Earth and all it's people are back in the next clip; Supreme Kai teleported with Dende to Namek to use their Dragon Balls to bring back Earth and everyone on it while Goku was fighting Kid Buu. Something I noticed about SSJ1 vs SSJ2. At least initially. While the hair went up when they went super. It wasn’t quite so *sharp* Like compare what Gohan looks like in Episode 58 or 59 and then in 60. It’s much softer than the super sharp and spikey of SSJ2. However eventually design wise they just used the same hair for 1 and 2. Making the “Zappy zaps” as the only difference.

The reason Vegito is having a hard time saying the name Goku is because Vegeta usually referred to him by his Sayian birth name rather than his adopted Earth name. Even in the abridged Broly movie had Vegeta making a big deal on refusing to call him Goku. Nappa didn't died from a stroke from natural causes. It was hinted he was trying to do something sexual with a belt and it ended up killing him. He should be alive afterwards since everyone got revived in the end. That's how DBZ ended with a 10-year timeskip. When Super got made decades later, it said it took place before the epilogue.

a lot have people have pointed out the lack of eyebrows is meant to represent the primal power and attachment to the saiyans past, it's why there is a version of ssj 3 that has there eyebrows because the form is meant to be more elegant and less primal

She's the main villain of Dragon Ball Heroes, the MMO that was shutdown several years back, before going into the two Xenoverse games. Most people know her from Xenoverse, but she first appeared in Heroes. To my knowledge she never showed up in the shows.

You mention that you don't see Dragon Ball that much but I can help you with some of your answers. Akira Toriyama is the creator of the franchise and some of things he puts in the story were some inspiration of some things that he liked. For example Future Trunks, the Androids, and Cell were inspired by the main characters of popular Sci-Fi movie Terminator which TFS are putting easter eggs about it in DBZ Abridged such as the "Come with me if you wanna live" quote. Bibidi, and Babidi, and Majin Buu is a reference of the magic word used in the Disney movie Cinderella. Dabura is also a reference of Disney as well. The part where Goku said "This is why I hunt my own food." Is a reference to the original Dragon Ball where Goku used to eat any type of animal when he was a kid because he used to live alone when his adopted grandpa Gohan died which TFS likes to bring that reference back in almost every season. and that Zamasu nonsense was also based by Supreme Kai because they're from the same race

Super Buu was been summoned when Majin Buu was in raged when 2 criminal shot the dog which Majin Buu tried to stop him but he ended up being eaten as a candy. 29:44 and this part is a plot hole because writers are messing the fans with this and Toriyama doesn't confirms that Dragon Ball Super is canon because it altered the Z epilogue
