Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! You really captured the beginner experience of the pilgrimage, but from a much more mature standpoint, a deeper level, than any other pilgrimage video I've seen. (and I've seen hundreds!) Come again soon!

Yes I will! We have a six bed Air BnB for ten weeks (very cheap) and also a small hire car. Pm me if you’d like any details of the property or the car (there’s a second four bed property at Mihara), both available for the two months of winter

Beautiful documentary, made with integrity. 🙏🙏🙏 IMPORTANT: I didn't see the whole docu yet, so maybe I repeat information but like in my own footage on KZbin, I have to stress the point that free camping and sleeping in rest huts is no longer appreciated. This is due to the increase of foreign travellers. Besides, after Covid many hotels, ryokans and Minshuku's had to close their doors or suffered financially since then . Spending money on these wonderful sleeping-places is now highly appreciated. Thanks again for your wonderful account of a journey that is so important for those performing it. ❤

So true, camping is only permitted on official camping sites. Thanks for the comment

The thing about Shikoku is the weather it can be extreme , both of my trips around Shikoku 2023 & 2024 I had very heavy rain and wind also cold 6 degrees , and on one occasion snow . So be prepared when planning this Pilgrimage . Its worth it
