We Hiked Into The ARIZONA Mountains In Search Of This LOADED Micro Creek!!

First off thank you for tuning in. A fly fishing video has been heavily asked for and in my opinion long over due so for those that have been waiting for this video him happy to say this is for you and thank you for checking it out! Never have we been to this creek before, Dylan and I had no idea how we were going to get to it or if it even had water on that stretch. Got to searching around a little bit on ol faithful google maps than made the long hike to an awesome surprise! Every Pool we fished seemed to be loaded with natural born rainbow trout waiting for a fly to be presented to them. It was a great day of catching that lead back to an even longer hike up the mountain. The Happy Hour Hound thanks for checking out the video! I hate to be that guy but Dylan brought me to that spot so I’d feel bad explaining where it was. However I can touch on our gear! Dylan’s setup was the Cabelas CGR fiberglass 2wt with a Sage champagne series reel. I also was using the Cabelas CGR 2wt but with the white river classic ultra light reel spooled up with 2wt line. Both of us were throwing a mix of elk hair caddis and black foam hoppers🤘🏼

The Happy Hour Hound it’s great for tight areas and tossing dries! It’s pretty forgiving if you get excited and set the hook quick you’re not going to rip that fly away

bob smith always looking to better my gear! My camera does shoot in 6k than compressed in to 4K but only in low frame rates. I’m usually shooting in 60fps 1080p in case I need to slow anything down. Sometimes intros and updates are filmed in 4K 🤙🏼
