WE HIKED WINDY GYLE IN NORTHUMBERLAND!

Fantastic day hiking across the Border Ridge up to Windy Gyle.
Windy Gyle is in the Cheviots and lies astride the Border Ridge that divides Scotland and England. Russell's Cairn on the summit is believed to be a bronze age burial mound. It is also crossed by the Pennine Way.

I love Windy Gyle... I park at the little bride and hoof straight on to the border ridge and clockwise round. Next time I'm there I want to get Davisons Lin as well

Thanks mate! Honestly it's a lovely walk, probably one of the best in Northumberland and this was our first time doing it - the circular from start to finish was just lush. Glad to hear about Hartburn, it's history is mad isn't it?!

@@tynetosummit yh mate I’m down south now . If ever in the capital let us know. We’re doing alright but this league is so poor compared to prem , there’s only the 3 teams above us who are any good the rest are pony . Was always going to happen with Toon after a class season last season it’s hard to keep that up especially with more games come more injuries etc you still have players who aren’t that level
