UnGuided Outdoors I fish north Texas mostly so I’m sure there’s less up here but I just read a dept of wildlife letter that said their numbers were decreasing and they were going to put a limit on them which sucks because I want to shoot them as well as want them to survive. Great videos guys

There are literally millions of needle nose gar and spotted gar. Alligator gar are the ones that can be over fished. Even that’s a stretch in my opinion. ✌️

In San Marcos tx, local govt sets aside a couple mil each year for the annual harvesting of the plecos, which may well be as damaging as carp have been.

I never comment in this fashion but.... That is the sickest bow fishing content I've ever seen. No question, and some of the best shooting too. You boys are on point. You earned my like and subscription by 8 minutes in. I don't think I've ever done that for a channel that does something I don't do any of, purely on quality of shooting and footage. I bowhunt everything but fish. I live in Oregon and right now its spring Chinook time with rod and reel. Either way, tight lines!!!

If it’s carp a lot of people trash it, because they’re invasive species. Some eat it but I don’t personally know anyone who does. gar can be very good if you’re willing to cook it, I can personally say it’s delicious

Those aren’t gator gar just long nose and short nose. Even so there are some places in Texas that you can shoot more than 5 gator gar, a few places they are wrecking the gamefish population.
