Brown trout that Danny, absolutely stunning too. I can't get near the river, my knee is shot & waiting for surgery, but, watching you keeps the vibe going & should be back at it by next March. Till then, sat on a lake, but it's been good, tench, crucians, common, mirror & roach & rudd in abundance. All the best mate 🐟🪱🎣👍

Hi Danny - I've just restarted my coarse fishing after years of frustration chasing the ever dwindling Salmon stocks... which is now just getting depressing tbh. I just stumbled onto your channel and have been binge watching to get back up to speed. I have to say you are both a superb angler but also brilliant at explaining what you are doing and why. Great fun, personable and extremely watchable, I've picked up a huge amount of information already. Thanks for all your efforts!

Nice net of fish Danny. The Trout looks like a nice Brown Trout to me. Sea Trout down south are more silver and have fewer spots.

Hi Danny, My favourite river and my local Dan, Ps fished those spots many times and bagged up in the day, we had a syndicate where we covered a peg 24hrs for days(that was years ago) we found (tip here) when there is no dace/chub they are more down the river, near the bend, they move to the slower water after the rain. I know you like corn once the chub show, but I've always caught my biggest chub on bread flake, I have never done well on corn. Even tried wasp grub and smelly cheese, but like you maggot/caster, hemp, fresh loaf pinch of flake. How did your Uncle do ? (any dace/chub).

Great days trotting 🎣 Crampons from ebay or amazon are great for over the boot spikes and can save a muddy bottom 😉

Cheap crampons saved my bacon many a time on the middle Severn.
