You guys did perfect fighting that fish! When they’re that big you can’t rush them. Only time I try to grab the leader is when they’re on their side and even then they still have fight in them. Great job boys and gal lol

I fought a 120-130 pound tarpon off a pier for close to 2 hours, got it to the pier and the top of my spool blew off because of the pressure on the spool. Tarpon are the greatest fish IMO, good numbers, can be caught inshore, jump, often weight 100+ pounds, take 200 yards of line quick and easy and strong as a jack.
