The shifting action looks life changing. I think Paul said the shift is reduced 30%, but even if it was 0% I’d buy this for the notchy-ness it looks like it provides. But alas, I have a DSG. Good thing my 6-speed buddy just ordered one today so we will be doing a review too. Keep the vids coming! 👍

I know this video has some age but anyone considering this part, look no further. Paul and the boys at DAP are pure class. I needed some work done on my mk6 and bought the kit at the same time. they offered to install it while they were replacing my clutch and rear main seal. This kit fixed the gripes I had with the stock shifter.

Dude the hardest part is re aligning the shifter. Took me hours to figure it out after putting the audi shifter on.

Did u tighten bolt while gears were locked 🔒 I thought that would break the gear lock mechanism

Can you not adjust this shift kit? I put mine in last night and for the life of me I could not find 1st gear. Now my transmission lock is broken so I’m trying to adjust it the way you would a stock shifter. Is that wrong or what?

The DG shifter I installed on EU spec Passat B8 1.4 tsi 150 hp seems to have the same properties. I like the short shifting, but now it requires more push and the noise from shifting is too much. Do you have idea how to deafen this noise? A second thing I would like to make the shifting smoother. With one word I would like to have all the properties of the stock shifter, but the shifting distance to be of the short shifter :). Not sure why VW did not come with something new for last 20 years in regards to manual shifting.
