We Invented a New Board Sport!

We were invited by Ocean Spirit in Portugal to host an Urban Stair Skimboarding event on a stair set! After that we enjoyed a mellow session at a fountain in Torres Verdes in Santa Cruz!

good stuff. Always pretty crazy to see. Gotta love the sealed bricks, I used to wait for flood weather like a surf forecast, and then hit the bricks on my longboard. Slash and splash, standup pindy late shove. Icy freestyling. This looks very similar, maybe a little more stable, maybe less? Totally freaking awesome that you're creating this urban skim scene and it's all grassroots. I'd hit the spot. I hope I find some other people around me soon that are into this, bc it's awesome. There's a channel called edge sports, which is more or less a free internet tv channel, I love watching the content on there bc it is noncommercialized and pure. It's action sports that don't appeal to millions and millions of people, you have to be down to watch jetski freestyle, or bmx freestyle, or MX Trials. It would be amazing to see a 30 minute block of urban skimming on that network, bc it's so pure and awesome. Smaller is better. Action sports are better without Mountain Dew sponsoring. I look forward to seeing you pop up unexpectedly there!

hello Adrian my name is bram I am from the Netherlands and I also skimboard sometimes but I don't do it often because I don't often go to the beach and I don't know where I can do it to and sometimes I try do do a shuv it but it just doesn't work for me and I don't think I have a good board because I see you are doing it on a way different Board so do you have some tips and bye en begrijp jij ook Nederlands want soms maak jij ook videos in Nederland zag ik doei groeten bram

I agree. Also it is very slippery, so you don't have much grip or control. And yet you fall on the hard pavement. Doesn't sounds fun!

Haha...you didn't invent this...people have been skimboarding in the streets for a while now....😂....try darksliding a skimboard.....and skimboarding is better on water....don't go dry that's stupid...
