Hello,Dan and Mazzy. The top part of the middle of the vol au vent is actually a top to put on the filling. You have to cut it out carefully so that you don’t cut the bottom part underneath. It is true that you put mushrooms in the filling with béchamel sauce that is very easy to make : milk,flour and butter in small quantities. Delicious ! The people from the North East of France ( in Alsace) have them at Christmas.

It definitely pays to check out the prices of the campsites, especially nowadays. We’re all watching the money, unless we are rich! It’s great that we are seeing a drop in petrol and diesel prices. Every little helps, as they say in Tesco! Talking of Tesco, some great deals are to be had, if you’ve got a Clubcard.I love these Vesta meals, especially the beef curry. I’ve not had one in ages, you’ve put me in the notion! I loved the glamped out double decker bus. Johnny Vegas would love it too as he opened a glamping site, somewhere in Yorkshire , I think . He bought an assortment of vehicles, including an old Maltese bus. I know this because he had a series on television about it. That’s interesting about the Jewish people who are on that campsite. I’ve never heard of them using a big tent as a Synagogue though. These people must be so devout in their worship that they have to have a sacred place, even on a campsite. Fascinating stuff !Apparently the Mormons don’t drink alcohol, they just have loads of children instead! Everyone to their own, no matter what their religion says they can,or can’t do. We’re all Jock Tamson’s bairns, to coin a Scottish phrase! Stay safe and well.👍🚐🖐

As a Jewish person I enjoyed your video today, which I was free to do because our "Sabbath" (Shabbat or shabbos if you want to know the common terms) ends sundown Saturday. I'm sorry to hear what you were told about the kid who died, but as Jewish people you're taught that rules (even on Shabbat) go out the window if needed to save a life. Thanks for the videos, me and my family enjoy them immensely. P.S Mazzy's outfits have been stunning this last month and you've been living up to your "dapper Dan" title yourself. 💜

I wholeheartedly agree. Unfortunately for Hasids their sect is stuck in the past and their adherence to the laws passed down to moses from God can be considered counterintuitive today. I do not criticise them as I was brought up with both reformed Jewish and Messianic views. I could not stand by and let even an animal die or suffer on any day of the week.

Surprised you liked that as found comments like.. we love watching them.. its far more fascinating than a Great Tit, Blue Tit, a Wren or Robin. and Mazzies comment … I don’t like filming out there now in case you intrude on their space or They don’t like the camera in case its a gun.. ... insulting.

Hi, I'm with Mazzy about you getting a narrowboat, we moved on ours in April and it's brilliant, you will have loads more room, can travel all round the country ( almost) we have solar power, use cheaper red diesel, no mooring fees unless you go in a marina, can stop where you want for up to 2 weeks at a time, and the years license is £1050, (our boat is 58ft, its cheaper for smaller boats) which covers mooring, elsan, water, and some showers. You get to see parts of the country that are amazing, and meet some interesting people, lol xx
@nigeldavey10432 жыл бұрын
I was never able to persuade any of my lot to even help never mind empty that bloody thing on their own. They all wanted to come in and fill it but nobody wants to be the Elsan man or woman for that matter. Your Jewish neighbours appear to be Hasidic which is a fairly strict sect and adhere strictly to the letter of the law as it were. You are saying that the video is earlier today (Sunday) so actually doing something other than religious devotions was fine from the start of today as Shobbas as we say is from sunset on Friday until Sunset on Saturday. You can't perform any kind of labour or use modern convenience items to circumnavigate the restrictions of the day of rest. Going to Synagogue you would walk not drive or ride and as it says in the "good book" observe the sabbath and keep it holy. My ancestors were Sephardi rather than Ashkanazi and not so strict. In fact if it's all men that are there then they may actually be from a Rabbinical centre rather than from a South London Community. We used to get them come to stay at the College in the town where I live, from boys to grown men all with the ringlets and black Homburgs. If you observe them again before you leave you may notice the strings of their prayer shawls dangling, their dress is very traditional.

@@terrortorn Well the commonwealth countries have a close bind so they aren't going to rip each other off are they. Countries such as the US lower their prices buy bulk trading and have cheap labour where the minimum wage to us is about £5 per hour! South America have very little worker laws what so ever, don't get me started on Africa! Europe on the other hand have to abide by the laws that make their products expensive. When in the European Union we were protected my that as we was not being charged import tax or charges.... we are now!
