If you want more wall space you should put the bed facing out to the windows. That allows you to have the wardrobe wall open and those who need to get up nocturnally can from either side. The crib and baby stuff can go on the same wall as the windows and you can then create a sitting with baby and rock/nurse/chill chair spot on the knee wall. You could also have gone with a Murphy bed as an option so it save space.

Love the possum 😍 My grandmother once told me, " When a life fights that hard to live (animal or human), we ought to try and help it/them." I think she was spot on and live by that today. And I love how Leo kept looking at mom, in the ice cream scene, in between bites, as if asking her permission. The only thing I wonder about is the thumbnail. It's confusing.

@ 9:11 when that older kid says he loved you guys my eyes got a little teary. Partially because his gratitude was so genuine and partially because I will never be able to afford this kind of experience for my own children much less my nieces and nephews. mind that 1/2 wall - my granddaughter at 11 months with Celebral Palsey in her legs climbed out of her cot - I wondered why I was so hot in the morning it was because she had gotton into bed with me and was a limpet on my back - she also at 20 months worked out how to open the fire guard and had the fire door open trying to put wood in the fire box - I had only run to the bathroom for a second - kids just suddenly know how to do stuff you don't realise they are watching how you do things

I totally agree with you. I’ve been concerned about that half all and the bed being there it’s just a scary disaster waiting to happen. I don’t know where East West is in their home but I think placing the head of the bed against the bathroom wall they could see the sunrise so they would be looking East and I have read that it’s better for you to sleep East to West instead of North to South. I think it would solve a lot of issues and give more space.

Frank's snow nose was adorable 😊 just a thought from a mother who's middle child could climb any object...if you're going to put Leo's crib by the half wall remember that there's little warning for those climbing type babies to be able to escape their cribs. my son was no more than a year old the first time!

My son was the same.. it happens so quickly.. first time, I found my son had climbed out his cot and up onto the window ledge, I got the fright of my life. Lucky the windows were closed. I immediately moved his cot to a flat wall. But from then on he climbed everything. If I sat him on the floor, he would scoot on his bum over to the sofa, pull himself up, climb on then up the back of the sofa..up wardrobes.. couldn't stop him.🤦🏼♀️😄

Good to watch you guys have fun and plan. Leo is showing a lot of the characteristics of his Dad. He'll learn his mannerisms and hand movements and end much like him, most likely. My brother is a carbon copy of our Dad behaviorally. Babies watch parents closely and often pick up things you wish they didn't. Parenting is a trip. But both of you are excellent parents.
