We knocked on the neighbors door and the home that needed cleaned up belonged to his grandmother. This was a big clean up but it looks great now.

Only one reason why a yard gets like that. A lazy ass! Dead truck under the car port, rusting away. Hole in the roof that the owner won't even throw a tarp over to protect. Amazingly stupid move.

If there's a hole in roof , good chance there's mold - which can make people very sick ! So while not protecting this investment, the mold would probably be a tear down unfortunately.

That house was built in the 1800s? WOW!!! That's a keeper!! The dirt road still existing in front of the house. Probably cost too much money to pay to hire fixing the roof, ceiling and floor. It's such an charming house. Once those trees and bushings were cleared, you can see the sun shining through the windows and really brighten the house up! Great job guys!! The house might be wounded but its still standing..❤

If you keep running into poison ivy and such, you need to invest in some hazmat suits! I don’t blame you for not trying to cut around it. I am very allergic to it also. In spite of any obstacles you run into, you always do a great job. Stay safe!

Your good example wake me up and I now trimed bushes a day by month for my elders neighbours. 4 yards make up since I began. ☺️ And since a month, another neighbour plus my two kids had helping me. Gold can right gaurd deodorant spray. My mom always made us spray our arms stuff down before we did any work around poison ivy. Spray it every couple hours depending on how much you are sweating. Doesn't keep it all away but cuts down on it for sure. Love the videos my friend.

Dont particularly notice the sidings when there is so much more taking the attention... but once all done the dirty sidings takes a bit of shine off a magnificent garden clean-up. So yes, a sidings clean would gel the finished look together.

You guys did a great job cleaning up around the place I hate the thought of him burning it down or taking it down I know the house is falling apart but it has such class they built so much better back then they do now they lasted a whole lot longer when we built them. I hope you don't destroy all the old flowers, my husband and I used to when we first were married go around to Old Farm sites and abandoned houses that or from the early century and take the flowers that were around there we left some but we took many and made my house look pretty but then we sold it and I didn't get the flowers that I had taken from so many different abandoned from places and the flowers at the place where I first lived when we were married you would never know they were even there now the new home owners just mowed over it, it's okay my place in Heaven's going to have lots of flowers. God bless you guys and your families. If he's going to keep the house yes I would love to see you clean it up I think all it needs is a new roof Maybe but to see the house pop again would be really pretty.

When I was in basic training we were out in the field and stopped for a break. As I turned and started walking towards a tree to sit down these two girls in my company ran, shoved me back forcefully, and sat down at the tree that I was about to sit against. So I walked away and sat down against another tree. About thirty seconds later they both jumped up and started yelling and screaming about ants crawling and biting them. I busted out laughing and I could see that our Drill Sargents had this smile on their faces, they saw how they pushed me away. Karma works fast sometimes. Baahaaha!

tip!! keep dawn dishwashing liquid in your truck. if your around poison ivey, simply bath your exposed arms with the liquid on. shower then reapply the liquid for several days, the soap keeps the oils from spearing on skin. i’ve used this method for years, it’s guaranteed to work

Depending upon how long that giant hole in the roof has been there, it could be destroyed beyond repair. Once you get that much water in there, you also get black mold that spreads throughout and there’s no overcoming that.

Robert reminded him that the Fire Dept uses buildings like that for practice and might be interested in burning it down. The owner said he was going to check into it. All agreed that it was a great idea to finish the cleanup to make it easier on the Fire Dept.
