While I agree our inconsistency is frustrating, all Ange’s underlying stats are pointing in the right direction. And we are only 4pts off the top four. All the negativity about his approach is entirely missing the point. Defensively we are strong… we are not conceding lots of goals… Opponents will always make and convert a chance in a game. Clearly with his system, Ange just needs his players to convert more of the many chances they are creating, but Not having many options up front due to injuries is worrying with so many games coming. Judicious strengthening in January is vital. But in Angeball, I fully believe.

Honestly some of the comments here. We have 10 players out injured. In most successful clubs the fans rally behind the team and try to help them win as many points as possible during the crisis. They try to be the 11th man on the field. But apparently our fanbase are more interested in being critics than actually supporting the team. Got to make sure we get our little 2 line jibes in. We play FIFA Manager we all know what we are talking about. The team deserves better than this.

Do you think the ownership get up and hate the manager and want to remove him. Or is it because the fans are agitating to get rid of the manager and the board is under pressure. The negative fans in our fan group actively campaign to get rid of the manager literally every season. This is a significant reason why we have been unsuccessful in winning the trophies. These fans don’t support the team. Football is more like a circus for them. They are more interested in creating more drama than they are in supporting the team to be successful. Look at the amount of Tottenham KZbinrs who regularly post sensational and highly dramatic stories to generate engagements but the effect is that we have a constant outrage around the club. Constant stories about sacking the manager every week. Always more focus on the negatives within the club rather than the positives. We beat Manchester City 4-0 and Manchester United 3-0 away, but the negative fans were falling over themselves to discount the achievements. We need to wake up to ourselves and fix these issues before it costs us another couple of decades without a trophy.

I would also love to see us try play romero in a sweeper/cdm with 2 cb behind him. How exactly is ange going to attract the worlds best when our best is on 190k and the other global football brands best in the PL are on 300k+? ENIC is trying to sell the club and big wage liabilities are going to make it hard to offload it. He's obviously trying to work within a wage budget.

When Ange was initially criticised over his lack of adaptability, I remember Ali Gold saying that the player's would lose belief in him if he abandons his principals at the first sign of danger. This seemed like a fairly salient argument in favour of Angeball, so I was happy to persevere. He seemed to adapt a bit in the City games, playing counter attack in the second half which was a huge success. When I watched Liverpool play City over the weekend, I was fascinated to see Liverpool play about 3 different styles within the 90 mins, in order to manage the game state. This doesn't mean that Liverpool lack a philosophy or a recognisable style, but they just made adjustments in order to secure the result. It got me thinking that Ange was happy to adjust a bit for City but he really needs to do it against the likes of Fulham and Ipswich as well, because with our current injury crisis and inexperienced youth players, he risks losing his job if the inconsistency continues. As much as players want to follow their manager into battle and believe in his philosophy, nothing breeds trust and admiration more than winning football games.

Arne Slot has inherited a team at Liverpool that has been set up for over 9 years. They have a bunch of world class senior players.They have their style of play. A lot of their home grown players have been trained in the system. So they are able to deviate from the system because they have already learnt it properly. If your team hasn’t learnt the system and you start changing it every week. You end up having no identity. You stand for nothing and will break in the big games playing against teams who know their style of play and know it well. Ange knows what he is doing. We should support him in the tough time rather than trying to change him. But look everyone is entitled to their opinion and am glad you love the club and care about it. Up the Spurs ⚪️👍

There are no excuses for him anymore, the injury crisis now was guaranteed when he did nothing to address last seasons problems in the summer. Last season he told us toip 4 didnt matter, then failed, then he told us it was important to try to help arsenal win the league, then he says its OK to be 10th at christmas. Doesn't work like that. You can have Max 25 players in Europe comps. 4 have to be part of the club for two years before age 21. 4 have to have played in any English team for 2 years before 21. 17 can be from anywhere. Those 17 are full right now. Then you can have unlimited under 21s who have been with the club for more than 2 years. Premier league is different but we have 3 slots for foreign players now available. There's only 2 places available in European competition, possibly 3 if we had the minimum 3 keepers instead of 4. These free spots must be filled by a club trained player. We also aren't in Champion's league nor winning the title so the best established players are unlikely to come to us. So that means either: A) Anyone we buy doesn't play in Europe. Good luck getting good senior players if they can't play European football and are bench players for who we have now. They won't get enough minutes. We had this issue last season with players mad about game time. B) We don't play Bergvall, Gray and Odobert in Europe. Then they'll never get game time because they need practice against weaker European teams and in two years we have 3 club trained players who haven't developed because they never play and they might leave the club. Their contracts probably include European game time targets because they are sought after young talent. Then if the young players we have don't develop in the next two years, we have the same problem of only having a squad of 22-23 players. Or we have a full squad for Europe, but the 3 club trained players we have for Europe have little game experience / want to leave and also will take up spots in the premier league which could be saved for "ready made players" which they will be after a couple years experience. You can't have the chicken before the egg and years of manager changes and poor academy management has created this issue. Now we are fixing it but it's gonna take time mate. It's not football manager, you can't just snap your fingers and have every player you want. You gotta give them what they want. The best players are the ones with the power because they are desired, not clubs who offer them a bench spot and no European football.

One thing that I hate about Ange is playing Porro regularly in the League even when he has a poor run of games let alone shows signs of fatigue. What does Djed have to do ? Seriously. Reguilon could also easily relieve Udogie. He plays them until they're injured and that's poor player management. Udogie, vdv and romero are prime examples, even Son. Its a matter of time until Porro gets injured from being overplayed
