You picked the perfect time to go on Vaca when your garden is starting to go to sleep. Take care and get better.

Thanks friend. It was nice to be back and things not look too crazy. I definitely don’t love leaving my garden during the growing season, so I completely agree it was good timing. 🥰

Hey, Claudia! Glad you had a great trip! I checked into birds eating zinnia seeds and found that birds do like to eat the seeds. Learned something new today! That Shishigashira was beautiful. I bought one for my Mom a few years ago but it’s much smaller than yours. Feel better!

Aww thanks Laura!! I’m so happy you shared that with me, it makes me happy to see so much wildlife foraging in our garden. I love that you bought your momma a Shishigashira, they are one of my favorite maples. 🥰

Same Michelle!! I was pretty home sick. I’m bummed I have this flu, it hit me like a bus, but am hoping today is the worst of it. 🩷🥰

Welcome home! I’m doing a hedge of Limelight Prime and Black n Blue Salvia! I will stagger them together… hope it works out! Still have blooms on my salvia and the Hummers are still all over them! ❤

It’s always good to come home …..I think it’s a sign that you love where you live . The garden looks great ,feel better so you can enjoy Christmas 18 days to go and the journey is the best. We have even had a few snowflakes,it was gorgeous,it was what I call One Day snow nothing on the roads,a little on the ground and the next day gone .. the high temperature was 32 ,tomorrow in the 60s . Thanks for sharing your experience 🎄❄️

Ohh that sounds so lovely!! I love a cool dry day and flurries of snow. That’s a pretty big temperature jump, similar to what we are seeing here in the PNW. I definitely feel worse today, but hopefully this will be the worst of it. 🥰

Hi would you please share with us from where to get the weeping atlas trees and chichira trees for a good deal thanks
@InTheGardenWithClaudia16 күн бұрын
Hi hi! Most of my trees come from Farmington Gardens, some from Portland Nursery, and others from Cornell Farms. 🥰

Your garden is still looking great at this time of year! Please be mindful of the raccoon as it will get worse if it knows it can always get food there. When raccoons defaecate they tend to go to the same spot as their latrine and their faeces is very unhealthy Unfortunately, I have a huge raccoon problem as my neighbour has a fish pond and the other neighbours always feed the birds. Food compost is another attractor, so there’s plenty of food to go around.The raccoons have also ripped apart part of my roof to have their babies! 🥰🇨🇦
@InTheGardenWithClaudia16 күн бұрын
Ohh no, really!? Yeah I definitely DONT want to attract any sort of pest like that here. He comes once maybe once every other month, and he’s a little wobbly, not sure if he’s injured. I mainly don’t want him/her to destroy our fruit trees like they’ve done in the past. 🫣
