Totally agree. FOCUS primarily on the grp, that's where they are STRONGEST. Solos are ok as an extra, but it causes division. The funny thing is they are not in competition among themselves, It's actually the solo stans/fans. Marketing, hire professional translator, writer, and director for mvs, and be more open to having different song writers/composers/producers for more variety. It's like serving extra n awesome sauces.

I agree! Especially when it comes to releasing MV sana wala munang sobrang haba na teaser kasi nawawala ang momentum and hype. At sa dami ng nilalabas, nawawala ang concentration kung saan ka manunood hati hati ang views tuloy. Di gaya ng sa iba ,isa lang dapat, pag nawawala na ang hype sa song at saka pa lang ilabas ang dance practice or ano pa mang video. AND PLS ENGLISH SUB PAGLABAS PA LANG NG MV, sa mga foreign reactors na napanood ko reklamo nila yan. Like isa lang dapat ang focus para if you want to hear and watch sa isang MV ka lang titingin or just check how you did WHAT. I agree with your honest observations esp in streaming. A massive campaign to introduce SB19 should be the focus in posting publickly in socmed to be accompanied by achievements ( awards, recognition locally n abroad) rather than calling attention of fans for massive streaming. ( IF EVER, do it in gcs/ privately instead ) . I dont like 'shipping' either . For new songs, i hope they will release it in one package - choose one if Mv or visualizer, n must include lyrics, english sub so that fans are focused on one release only and views/streaming is concentrated . Fans will not be confused which to stream first . After the MV or Vis release sayn target views is met, fllow with a bts or dc. I wish the underrated songs of SB19 , Mana, Crimzone will still have an mv/dc official release.never too late for these amazing hyped music. ❤

I also agree about the subtitling of their songs, just so international fans could really understand their songs. As for their music videos, i think it's hard to produce for evry songs since producing it is so costly. As Josh said in their interview in one of the Billboard episode, "mas malaki ung nilalabas nila kesa sa pinapasok."

I agree 100% in all that was mentioned. Focus more in their group or else other group will get more attention. In solos they are against each other who will win. They are all very talented and humble. They said that sb19 group is the priority but because they decided to focus on group and solos, the group got push back. As a fan outside the Philippines, all these advices are spot on. They do need a better or strong marketing strategies. They really need to strike the iron while it’s hot and really need to maximize. International Marketing is essential to their continuous success. While it’s true that their solo albums was great, it did take away the focus on their group. I hope they will consider all these tips that you have shared. And for me actually I like when they speak English , I noticed that with Ken , he responds in English though the question sometimes is in Tagalog to cater to his Western audience. Since English is their 2nd language, it literally doesn’t hurt at all to speak English for a broader audience.

I absolutely agree on all points. Hope this vlog gets to 1Z Entertainment and they consider all the points raised. They should have think tanks, then work on their priorities and stay focused. I also think their team needs to get rockstar content creators. Subtitles are a must to connect with the international community. Content materials need to be relevant and interesting. Timing and frequency of uploads are essential, too. And personally, I've always been against the shipping thing among the boys because it's harmful to their image. I just wish for 1Z to be more cohesive and dynamic for SB19's sustainability.

But, I came across a tweet suggesting that they pursue solo work primarily for financial reasons, as group efforts often lead to revenue sharing (ung dating management nila). Ang sad lang. I totally agree with all your points. Some of them already lurking in the back of my mind, some I’ve come to realize just when you brought them up. With regard to the last item, I think they all agreed to devote 2024 to their solo projects. These boys have been working so hard as a group, they maybe felt that they shld also given channels to express their own musical identity. Because they’ve already anticipated that 2025 will be the year of SaW. Promotions, an MV that should top the magnitude of Gento, another world tour, more collabs, etc. By the way, thanks for mentioning Mana needing an MV. I consider myself as a member of its cult following called Mana Supremacy. Hahaha! It deserves its own MV.

I agree with you for the most part. IMO though, I don't think they should do the old "no holds barred" type of show break anymore. There are some jokes that are said or information about the boys that spill out in the spirit of fun. Unfortunately, instead of taking it with a grain of salt by fans, they end up being used by toxic OTs to pit one member against another.

I think streaming will rise with more exposures. Take Nyebe being OST for Green Bones. I believe it helped increase the monthly listeners of our mahalima. More ML more people will stream. More people will recommend SB songs outside the fandom.

The subs per video, I hope it’s already subbed before they are uploaded especially the vlogs because different international A’tin and reactors are so updated and they watched the videos even before any Pnoy A’tins. Agree also that solo projects overshadowed the group for this year. Though Pablo said the reason was they need to rest also, but I think it’s taking too long and interrupting the momentum from Pagtatag and Gento craze. I hope their new EP will be that bomb enough to make them be part of the Coachella in 2026. Rooting for it.🙏

amen! you took the words out of my mouth. it's such a shame if their talents and their work can't be showcased internationally, especially their english songs. from, bazinga, to WYAT, crimezone, i want you, even love goes. tsk tsk tsk.. these are bop songs, even better than gento, in my opinion. and you're right, they need to get a new marketing team who is aggressive. i'm surprised SONY is not helping promote them internationally in radio stations.. also, wish bus should know that most reactors are going on your channel to react. not sure who is suppose to put the subtitle, wishbus or the artists. they should also make a lot of tik tok content and more english songs. also, i think they just did the solo gigs just to have income to put into IZ ent. they should focus on the group, unless they really plan to leave the group and go solo. i really pray 2025 will be a better year for them. i love these guys and i couldn't think of anybody else who deserves it more than them. i hope they listen and consider making changes especially coming from a non filipino's perspective, they are not getting any younger. it would be cool if they colab with fellow filipinos like EZ mil and bruno mars~~

I believe that the reason why they did not make an MV for all their songs is because of the trademark issue and probably finances as well since they just started 1Z. Mana was in Pagsibol, which they were still under SBT that time. And this is also why I believe they focused on their solo projects this year as they were still fixing the trademark issue with their name. The momentum for the group broke when the tours got cancelled because of the TM issue. So for me, the collabs and solo projects is a wise and practical solution for the group instead of totally being in hiatus.

Bakit naman kasi pupuntahan niyo lahat ng events ng SB19, solos man o group? May buhay pa kayo outside ng mundo ng SB19. Made-drain talaga kayo kapag ganun. Kaya yung iba nagiging delulu at demanding. Yung pagsosolo nila, isa sa mga strategies lang 'yan kasi nagbi-build sila ng company at kailangan nila ng more funds. Baby pa lang yung company nila, kung aasa lang sila sa kita bilang group, magiging mabagal ang pag-angat nila. Remember, kailangan ng pera sa ganitong klase ng company, lalo na't gusto nilang mag-produce ng female group, at hindi na sila bumabata. Imagine their age kapag 10th year anniversary na nila. Thank you, Jennifer. Yes, I agree. I feel for them and their health. SAW is coming in 2025. They already told us this. They already told us they had to focus on solos this year since there was an ongoing lawsuit with the tm issue. The momentum was lost because of the lawsuit, not because they planned it this way. They did the best they could to save themselves and the company by finding other sources of revenue this year. This was a temporary setback that was out of their control. We would have had SAW this year if it weren't for their prior company suing them.

Pa-correct na lang ako kung mali. Ang alam ko, nauna nang kinanta ng SB19 at ni Gloc-9 ang 'Kalakal' sa Acer concert. Unreleased song pa siya noong time na 'yun, so I don't think kailangan pa, tulad ng suggestion mo, na may 'pasurprise effect' yung pagkakasali ni Gloc-9 sa MV, kasi nga majority knows na siya yung ka-collab ng SB19.

Yes, they did perform it live during the Acer event! What we were trying to say is that we had kind of hoped they had: 1) shown the BTS after the official music video, and/or 2) only performed the first stanza and chorus at the Acer event to keep the Gloc-9 collab a surprise for the MV release. But anyway, what’s done is done, and surely there was a strategy behind it all. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!

I’m still disappointed that Pagtatag Documentary had limited screening time and location. It hasn’t reached a lot of fans abroad yet. Hope it was released on Netflix or online platforms. I feel they already forgot about it. 🥲 I’m still hoping I can watch it though.
