The leaves produce dew from condensation and when it warms up the water evaporates up to the tarp and collects to the center and drips onto the coconut. Thats why you need leaves.

Hey @IGP If its still the same way like it was when I played with someone then with the campfire bugging out the person who can't see the campfire will always see it as raw. But they can still eat it even though their character does the bad food sounds. So It should just be a bug, hopefully you see this and hopefully this helps! Thanks for the content Edit: to clarify, the food is still good to eat as long as one of you see cooked food. Just ignore the noises your character makes and you shouldn't receive any negative status effects

If I remember correctly then You can have more then 1 crate in your inventory, You don't have to go up and down all the time.. and pick up all barrels tires and yellow things you can. Helps keeping your raft over water if it gets to heavy. Also. Jule shelf's on the raft to put crates on.

The meat will stay fresh until you need it if you don't skin the animal until you need it. One of the buttons will drag stuff around. If you are on PlayStation, its hold L2. Search the big ships end to end. There are usually alot of crates in those ships

If you make a solar still, live plants have moisture. Cut them, it's hot, the water is extracted and goes into the still.

so the still works by taking the evaporated moisture from the palm and fibrous leaves, collects it on the tarp beads down to the coconut, thats why the tarp is shaped that way. Now normally youd have to dig a hole, put the container in the middle and surround it with leaves then place the tarp over the top

ohhhhh i understand how the water coletion works. U need the palm tree leaf under there because the way the water coletion works is that the water inside the leaf slowley evaporetes as the leaf dries, then the water vampor gets couth on the blue tarp and condenses and them falls on the little container under it. Thats also way it works when its not raining

COoked and uncooked meat are both under the same icon in your menu..its probably gonna be fixed eventually but at the moment you cant tell if what you are looking at is cooked or not from the menu so the safe thing to do is to cook everything in your inventory so that you know they are all good to eat :)

if you walk behind the big crabs ( not even sneaky) with out then seeing you can hit them and they won’t run for a sec and when they do they run and fear and won’t hit back edit - the only way i’ve seen to kill a boar/pig is my brother who used like 30 arrows and for the water collector put the palm leafs and the water will be collected from it also for the raft the more word bunch’s the more cover it will be over the water there for Anti-flip hope i could help the epic rerun :) one more edit: watch out many things will poison you, such as the purple star fish things, the red/white striped fish with many fins (their needles) and snakes sooo just stick to the real life real if is colorful don’t fuck with it cause nature ain’t need to hind it with camouflage
