It’s really nice that you transformed the shed into a home. It really warms my heart to know that you’re wife survived her medical conditions and your still together as a family. My wife and riding buddy passed away last week. She needed kidney real bad she was on dialysis for 3 years along with heart surgery last year. God Bless you and your family, keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up

Simple living is the best. Here where I live they have what's called mini homes that are half the size of your home and they are going for $175k. Your set up is awesome. I lost a beautiful home and had to move into a small apartment because my wife also had a brain tumor removed from the middle of the brain and she can no longer work but she's alive and healthy and I'm not going to complain one bit about it. At least you have no rent or house payments and nobody can boot you out the door. Its yours and built with your hands. Much respect to both of you

I was building my tiny house because my trailer got damaged again by another tornado. I was almost done when more of lifes downs hit. I ended up being forced off my property. I even ran my own water line 240 feet, pex and shark bites are awesome! Off grid, tiny house, back to nature, seems to be a "new idea", but I grew up that way, so I just shake my head and laugh, cause I'm a pro at it and never knew until a few years ago. Do what you got to do, make the best of it, be yourself and be happy! New sub here.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that. If fact is something that you two built together, proudly own it. Carpenter for over 40 years now, I see many huge homes that are a waste of material and resources, why, to stroke the owners ego. Me, I want and live in a smaller home. Its all I need. Keep it simple. God bless you both.

God bless you all

Yeah, that sucks you guys "had" to go the tiny house route but the finish product looks pretty awesome! Not to mention the affordability factor of going with a tiny house. We spend far too much time and money filling overly large houses with sh1t we don't need instead of filling our souls with memories and experiences! Even though it was out of necessity for you, you two are an inspiration to what is really important in life and making the most out of what (and who) you have. Keep on Keeping On! 😁😎👍🤘
